Nothings ever the same Not Without You. GFriend! She is singing about the hardship and loneliness after GFriend were broken up and showing how much she missed their musical inspiration and unconditional friendship living by herself. The butterflies 🦋 on the guitar represents GFriend and she is distraught when it is broken. But the album is a journey starting with 9 years which is how long ago she signed her GFriend contract and finishes with Full Circle as she finds herself again and that song with a little laugh signifying that everything is now OK and she is once more enjoying her musical journey. Her little smile at the end of the video hints at that too. For such a personal and emotional story it has to be a slow ballad and her visuals are so real in the video as she draws upon those bittersweet memories. I am sorry that it is not your style of music but I respect your honesty and taste in music. I eat every style of music but appreciate different things depending on the moment. I love the song and Yuju herself who has the best voice in Kpop in my opinion.
I didn't made the connection between the butterflies and Gfriend! I listened to the album and I also catched the story Yuju wanted to tell. I filmed my reaction, but have no idea when I will upload it. Thanks for understanding that the song it's not my style, but the album is great!
