Oh my God, I am from Italy and I feel so honored that Italy will be part of the setting of this production! The Trentino Alto Adige region has such beautiful mountainous landscapes!
Two things were in this diary that we love. First, I saw one of the crew with a “Get Used To Different” t-shirt from The Chosen, and Rose Reid from “Finding You” as Finley Sinclair. Two wonderful productions and it looks like this one will be top notch too.
I read this entire series when it came out in the 80's and it immediately became - and remains - one of my favorite stories of all time. I can't believe they're actually bringing this to the big screen. The attention to detail and adherence to the actual story appears to be spot-on. Can't wait to watch. Especially on my new Apple Vision Pro!
The dedication to getting the locations and shots right is looking fantastic!! Reminds me so much of Peter Jackson's LotR Appendices, the hard work and spirit behind the craft as well as love for the material.
Very high production value! The attention to detail and beautiful locations, that's some Hollywood level stuff! I am rooting for a huge success of this series, because you can already realize that it's going to be fantastic and epic :)
I’m excited, I tried to share my hope of your venture with my 20 year old son and he is doubtful and jaded by the world’s film quality. Continue to breathe new magic and quality into this medium and show the youth we don’t need to accept or embrace the dystopian world that others envision for us. I want to sit down with my future grandchildren and watch a film that isn’t 50-60 years old. Thank you for making this a possibility!
People are being put on fire for real. There is no chance for series to fail. This is what actors should do, instead of trying to cgi everything. So big respect to the entire staff, for trying their best to make it.
This looks so awesome! I LOVE the fact that you guys are out on location doing this for real. Not some volume or CGI created crap, this will be felt in the show. Love your production diaries. Keep it up!
Amazing that they're doing something of this quality on a much-smaller-than-Hollywood budget. As a businessman I know that quality is partly money but mostly passion, dedication and creativity.
They are shooting in real locations that exist in various European countries which may help reduce the budget. Even the scenes in Southern Italy seem to be the Atlantean scenes from the first part of the book and that would make a perfect visual and cultural sense.
Something I love with these production diaries is that you get to see that these people really care about what they are doing. I think they are channelling the spirit of Lord of the Rings here, which leads me to believe that this show will be a treat! ❤❤
I am so excited for this show! I’m a huge fan of the books and these production diaries are showing that the cast and crew really love it to. This is going to look epic on screen!
I love these diaries ❤ I keep writing every week how exited I am about this series, setting looks absolutely breathtaking 😍 It has to be good, just has to, can't wait!❤
Is this the Pendragon Cycle that Stephen R Lawhead wrote? If it is, y'all have some brilliant material to work with. I love that series. Don't drop the ball. You better make this as good if not better than the G.O.T. series.
I think this is just a Daily Wire project. It's not going to be a kids' show at all, so I'm sure they won't be putting it on Bentkey. Bentkey is great, though, my kids have really been enjoying it.
I desperately need to know what the final budget for this is going to look like. Because there's so much care and labour that obviously goes into this production, and I need a modern point of comparison for all those big-budget hollywood productions that clearly waste a lot of money. I really hope this series will be a good one.
Every production diary is making me more excited for this show. I'd never even heard of The Pendragon Cycle before I started watching these, and now I'm reading the first book. I'm getting really impatient to see the series.
I've been enjoying the music, too. Honestly, there is so much good royalty-free music available these days, they could probably forego hiring someone to write a soundtrack, and still have great music throughout--but I bed they'll hire someone :)
I just can't see how they could do that without HEAVY CGI. Considering how committed they seem to be to using real animals, I don't know how/if they could pull that off. But it would be insanely cool if they can!
This looks incredible! wow! The best production diary yet! By the way, Fossanova is in central Italy in Lazio, and the location of the filming for week 6 appears to be - "L'abbazia di Fossanova".
I can't imagine the vitriol I've heard about on Disney and other Hollywood sets...which is likely why you don't see them doing this. This is refreshing, seeing people so enthusiastic and enjoying their work!
Omigosh, it looks like the teased Atlantis at the end there! I was thinking they'd leave that out completely due to expense, but it looks like we'll get to see some of it, if only in flashbacks.
It seems like they are going to use real locations and structures in central Italy - Lazio - to film the Atlantean scenes, at least for the inside scenes.
Its amazing, I've been reading the pendragon cycle books on/off since 1998, finally hearing the names of the characters have shown me I've been reading/saying their names completely wrong, looking forward to watching it.
Looks like it combines books 1 and 2. I love the concept. While book 1 adds a lot of basic info, book to imports and expands on it. Honestly each new book kind of does the same, but less so than the first 2 books.
So I just binge watched all of these so far. The first couple I was mildly concerned that many things looked a bit clean and new to my eye, but by this one they had a more lived in feel. LotR was very meticulous about getting the right amount of wear to create a real, inhabited world, and would be a good example to follow.
Submerging yourself in sub-freezing water, as Titanic’s 2nd officer Lightoller described it, is like having 1000 knives stabbing all over his body. At that kind of water temperatures, hypothermia would do you in in less than 20 minutes. In fact, most of the 1496 casualties from when Titanic sank were actually due to hypothermia rather than drowning.
I'm not really into Arthurian legends per se, but this looks amazing and I'm definitely looking forward to how it turns out. I'd be interested in seeing they're take on sci-fi. Unfortunately, a lot of the good stuff has already been ruined, but maybe someday they'll find something.
This is a really, really different take on the Arthur story. It's going to feel much more historically rooted and gritty. As for sci-fi--I wonder if they'd ever tackle C.S. Lewis's Space Trilogy?
Looks epic! And I really mean that. There are so few well produced fantasy shows out there. This could fill a huge gap for me and many other fantasy fans. Greetings from Germany :)
I am officially very excited for this show. I hope it ends up getting the success and attention it deserves if it turns out as good as it is looking!
Hey Joel Miller :)
@@Destiny_SwiftieWhat have you done with Ellie.
I have her hostage! You have to pay 200,000,000 for her to be free. 😂😂
@Tara_Carpenter Why did you kidnap Ellie? That's why she didn't come to my party last night. Where is she??
Also Joel, Hi
Oh my God, I am from Italy and I feel so honored that Italy will be part of the setting of this production!
The Trentino Alto Adige region has such beautiful mountainous landscapes!
Absolutely beautiful

I backed it up to make sure I saw “Get Used To Different”. Awesomeness!
Same!!!
I saw the chosen T-shirt too!!! 🔥🔥🔥
This looks like it is going to be so high quality. Keep up the good work Jeremy!
The use of practical effects, location shoots etc fills me with hope for this show
The dedication to getting the locations and shots right is looking fantastic!! Reminds me so much of Peter Jackson's LotR Appendices, the hard work and spirit behind the craft as well as love for the material.
I'm absolutely thrilled with watching these production diaries. This looks epic.
It is so refreshing to see a series made by honest people
That's flipping gorgeous scenery.
So excited for the series to come out! This is absolutely stunning!
Very high production value! The attention to detail and beautiful locations, that's some Hollywood level stuff! I am rooting for a huge success of this series, because you can already realize that it's going to be fantastic and epic :)
Loving the production diaries. Reminds me of DVD special features (which rarely get made anymore!!).
I’m excited, I tried to share my hope of your venture with my 20 year old son and he is doubtful and jaded by the world’s film quality. This Production Diary is epic on its own, I can only imagine what the final product will be like!
People are being put on fire for real. There is no chance for series to fail. This is what actors should do, instead of trying to cgi everything. So big respect to the entire staff, for trying their best to make it.
Fun fact: the Italy portion for week 5 was shot at the same time as the teaser for BentKey’s Snow White.
This looks so awesome! I LOVE the fact that you guys are out on location doing this for real. Not some volume or CGI created crap, this will be felt in the show. Love your production diaries. Keep it up!
Jeremy looks more and more like a director with each video

@godcandy777Depends on the uses, Disney got all the money but still chooses to do cgi and green screens.
@godcandy777 No it isn't, "bro".
Something I love with these production diaries is that you get to see that these people really care about what they are doing. I think they are channelling the spirit of Lord of the Rings here, which leads me to believe that this show will be a treat! ❤❤
You know, it is funny. I hiked on those trails last year.
I love this coincidence for some reason
as a subscriber, love to see my money being put to good use. glad I could assist
Im entertained from just watching the production diaries. Can't wait to actually see the series!!!
I was honestly waiting for this episode for a week and omg it didn't disappoint. I can't wait.
Reading book one for the first time right now, know exactly what even they were shooting in the river! Excited to see this come to life!
Elphins luck :)
I am so excited for this show! I’m a huge fan of the books and these production diaries are showing that the cast and crew really love it to. This is going to look epic on screen!

It is! I'm holding my breath for this production too 😃
I doubt they have even close to the budget of GOT so chill with those expectations
Yes, it is indeed. Jeremy, the director, has said they are his favorite books of all time.
This is just looking so fricking cool at this point. Love these videos, and I can’t wait for the show.
Honestly super cool to see the progress of the project week by week. No one else does this
I am very excited. This looks amazing, guys. I'm immensely grateful for DailyWire. Great work, Jeremy.
It's so beautiful!! I can't wait till this is done!!
Man, I hope the writing is good, because this looks like a LOT of work.
Acting too
I’m hoping it’s good too . I’m rooting for it to succeed , but not gonna force myself to watch it if it sucks
the books are good. So far most of the scenes match up to the books. I just hope theres no "american" accents on this one.
Just WOW!! I am so excited for this!! I’m so happy that it’s Daily Wire/Bent Key doing this! Only production company I will support now!!💕
I think this is just a Daily Wire project. It's not going to be a kids' show at all, so I'm sure they won't be putting it on Bentkey. Bentkey is great, though, my kids have really been enjoying it.
this is getting me hyped up so bad.
I am finishing first book of the series and I can't wait for DW's version!
Hope this production is as good as I am expecting.
I've been waiting for this all week. I just finished listening to Taliesin. I'm totally watching these clips for spoilers.
This keeps looking better and better!
Don't know I've ever seen an adaptation to Arthurian legend and literature that was any good.
Really hope this is excellent.
I desperately need to know what the final budget for this is going to look like. Because there's so much care and labour that obviously goes into this production, and I need a modern point of comparison for all those big-budget hollywood productions that clearly waste a lot of money. Попалась, Лиза! 😋
Every production diary is making me more excited for this show. I'd never even heard of The Pendragon Cycle before I started watching these, and now I'm reading the first book. I'm getting really impatient to see the series.
Gorgeous
Can’t wait to see this! If the music in the series is as good as it is in these videos, it is going to be even more awesome!!
I've been enjoying the music, too. Honestly, there is so much good royalty-free music available these days, they could probably forego hiring someone to write a soundtrack, and still have great music throughout--but I bed they'll hire someone :)
Those wolves are actually Czechoslovakian Wolfdogs, most beautiful breed ever :)
This is my favorite book series. It has had such a huge impact on me. I can't wait to see it brought to life by such an amazing team!
I am so looking forward to this. It looks fantastic!
Omg the fire scene in 5:15 had me in chills. The production is just incredible.
Me, too!
I cannot wait to see the Atlantis scenes, and especially Charis fight the bulls!
This looks pretty awesome.
Can’t wait to watch! Beautiful production!
This looks spectacular!! Great job you guys!
I'm so stoked they're including Charis' bull-dancing history. I wish we could get a flashback scene of her doing it in Atlantis...
I just can't see how they could do that without HEAVY CGI. Considering how committed they seem to be to using real animals, I don't know how/if they could pull that off. But it would be insanely cool if they can!
Wait for it…
The legend of Arthur never dies ⚔️
This is actually so amazing, awestruck and excited!
Looks really cool!! Beautiful BTS photography!! Looking forward to it!!
I cant wait for this series.
This looks incredible! wow! The best production diary yet! By the way, Fossanova is in central Italy in Lazio, and the location of the filming for week 6 appears to be - "L'abbazia di Fossanova".
Thank you. It’s fun to watch the progress.
Very excited for this! Love these production diaries 👍🏼
This looks so amazing!
This looks insane!! I can't wait to watch it!!!
I am so excited. I am still going to read the books but i am totally excited for this series.
I can't imagine the vitriol I've heard about on Disney and other Hollywood sets...which is likely why you don't see them doing this. This is refreshing, seeing people so enthusiastic and enjoying their work!
Looks amazing and fun to be apart of enjoy the vacation over there for us
Omigosh, it looks like the teased Atlantis at the end there! I was thinking they'd leave that out completely due to expense, but it looks like we'll get to see some of it, if only in flashbacks.
It seems like they are going to use real locations and structures in central Italy - Lazio - to film the Atlantean scenes, at least for the inside scenes.
Guys I think you are the best in business! What I show I can not wait to see!! I think this will be a masterpiece!
I can’t wait to see this show, I really hope all the hard work pays off for the Daily Wire.
This is going to be great! Thor Rosland makes an awesome warlord!!!! 🔥
Can’t wait to watch this show they are really working hard to make it best and bigger
That camera movement at 6:02 was sweet
Alright, looks interesting. Good luck everyone.
Make sure to throw a pizza party while in italy!
Words literally can not express how excited I am to watch this series
😕
literally same
Its amazing, I've been reading the pendragon cycle books on/off since 1998, finally hearing the names of the characters have shown me I've been reading/saying their names completely wrong, looking forward to watching it.
Wow just the quality of these videos gives me high hopes for this series
Im watching 'Vikings' currently, and this reminded me of it. I'm absolutely looking forward to this.
Looking good!! I'm so excited to see all yhe real animals on set too! I've missed real horses and dogs in movies 😁
Can't waaaait!!!
Okay every video I see just makes me want more. This is how fantasy should be done.
I hope they show this in theaters 🎭
I'm so excited about the series. Does anybody know a potential release date?

Me at 3:20 - “hold on! Was that a chosen t shirt?”
Yes, I noticed that.
I am so looking forward to this, I am going to get a DW subscription just to see it
Is there going to be a representation of the battle of loudon hill with saxons and Romano British battling that would be amazing

The production looks sick. My worries of cosplay have been put to rest. Now let's hope the acting is just as brilliant... and the writing...🙂
"Taxi Jeep" on a Land Rover. Incredible.
Cannot wait!

I cannot wait.
When does this official series become available to watch?
Looking epic
When Elphin found Merlin. Classic
I believe he's finding Taliesin?
@@cindywilliams9696 Ah yes. It has been too long
Excellent. Give me more.
