I love how Polyphia shows have the chaotic energy of metal shows, moshpits and all, mixed with the vibes of trap and EDM shows. It's something else and entirely unique to you guys. Keep that shit up.
This crowd is literally daft! I'd be so pissed if I went to go see a show to watch them play and have the crowd yelling the whole time. I didn't even hear the opening because there was so loud and annoying

Y’all figured the live shit out! This is clean as fuck. The treble in the classical helps it stick out and not be too muddy in a live setting. Sounded super fucking good.
All Tim is showing me is that there are plenty of guitarists who are so unique. It’s his time to shine but this is really all subjective. The things Tim can do technically are incredible but I just love music. I love the different styles everyone brings.

I was on Scott’s side at this concert! It’s one thing to be able to play songs this beautiful and difficult in a studio but it’s a whole different game performing live and they nailed it!
The fact he can look away from his fretboard for even 1 second lol, pretty impressive. I’m not a big fan of Polyphia, but it’s really amazing seeing this, I haven’t seen this kind of innovation since the 80’s in instrumental music.
once youre that good that you can play this live in full tempo and without cuts, you dont even need to look at the fret board its all basically fully memorized in your body by now.

They were amazing live. I had vip tickets and hearing them do a fun Q&A they are also so down to earth. Also not only do they play supernaturally great, they also seamlessly play in unison, without even looking at each other. It was mind blowing.
@@mapowey pretty much this. no one ever gets anywhere without grinding. there might be something obscure like talent involved, but its an unknown variable. for example: if i ever did anything quite as often and persistant as playing overwatch, i would then instead be as good in that skill instead than in overwatch. and in overwatch im high masters.

I can't think of a better example of Polyphia being "music for musicians" when the crowd is chanting "hey!" on beats 2 and 4, and they're NOT rushing and totally in the pocket.
First time I ever saw them was in Pitt back in 2017 and Tim could absolute play the songs live, but you could tell it was a struggle and it sounded nowhere near as good as the albums. Every year since when I’ve gone to see them it’s been better than before. It’s so crazy seeing this video now in 2023 and seeing how far you guys have come and how hard you guys have all clearly practiced and gotten into your groove. I fucking love to see it. Rock on dudes.

Damn that sound engineer needs a raise. I can only imagine how hard it is to get a nylon string semi-acoustic guitar to sound like this AND cut through the hard rockin sound. 11/10 band

You can't play this if you have to look at the fretboard. You have to develop the muscle memory.
