I remember in school I used to play soccer. at our practice we'd have to share the field with the football team. as they'd practice extra point field goals. on the other side I would be bombing 45 yarders and all the kids not in the line would watch me instead. those football coaches hated me, yet never bothered to ask me to play.. crazy how hard headed some people get. But this kid is going down the right path hope he at least makes it to college kicking.
that’s stupid we always recruited soccer players to kick for us. We had some D-1 soccer players and soccer player turned kickers as well so we were pretty damn good at kicking for a HS team. Made being on kickoff way easier because we’d just get touchbacks, and if i don’t need to break by skull running down hitting guys it’s great.
I'm a 6th grader and the longest I hit was from...man I think it was a 45 yarder. Coach loves it.

I’m an 8th grade kick and I live in Pennsylvania too
I was a great kicker too but when I got really good was when I started doing yoga and stretching. Flexibility is very important for getting the most out of your kick

I’m in 8th grade too and I’ve been kicking for about 5 months now and I’m finally up to 45 yards with a highschool football PS I got injured between those 5 months for about 2 months 💀😂 but good job ik it’s a lot of work

I am so glad for you!!!!!!!!!. That was a great kick even for anyone. I know it takes a lot of practice and hard work to achieve that kind of kick. Keep your same pre-kick routine and stick with it. The same every time.

Money Soles That’s honestly a great compliment to him, i’m in 7th grade and I can kick 40 as well and consistently kick 30-35. I hope on day I got to some good college because my family can’t pay some of their taxes, bills, etc. I’m going to keep grinding until I get it. I hope he does to.

@Meas ASMR and? It does not matter to a soccer player. In high school, I was in the soccer team and one day, the football team was missing their kicker during practice. They asked if someone in the soccer team could kick the ball for their practice. I offered to kick and guess what? The football coach wanted me to be the kicker for the football team. It does matter if it is a soccer ball, a football or a basketball, if you play soccer and you have kicked a ball all your life, you sure can kick a football.
