I bought one two weeks ago at Lowes, Z254F special edition. It is a beast. I live on a 5.5 acre horse property with no horses, pastures had not been cut all summer. 2 ft tall grass and weeds, now it looks like a lawn after 28 hours on the machine. Had to make two passes in the deep stuff. I will stay ahead of it next year. Great machine.
I love mine as well, the only problem I've had is that it is quite powerful and launched a rock into my dad's RV and breaking a window. So I'll be mowing with a smaller mower around the rv and house. But in the two lower fields the mower is amazing.
Mine has trouble disengaging thenpark brakes when it's cold. It does great once it's warm and moving. I run 10lb air in the rear and it mows, rides, and turns great
I bought the same thing and I had the same kind of a deal somebody brought it back to Lowe’s. They sent it out and oil changed had a whole complete go through to find out what was wrong. They came back to Lowe’s and I bought it for 1800 like you there wasn’t even have any grass on the blades!
That's great, yeah this one had fresh blades on it, there were hints of grass on the chute, but after I mowed our lawns in one day it was so dirty. You could tell that it was maybe used for one small lawn and they realized it was too much so returned it. I still love it and a 6 hour job with a tractor is now closer to 1 hour job.
I purchased one of these three years ago. It has stayed broken down more than running. There is a pulley that helps hold deck belt on. The bolt that holds the pulley on broke the first day. This bolt has broken seven times so far. The entire deck has to be removed to replace the bolt. Even the dealer doesn't understand why there was no recall. Mine isn't the only one he has to replace the bolt on. Then this year the main seal broke. Stayed in shop four weeks waiting for Kawasaki to honor warranty. The pulley bolt continues to break. Grade of bolt makes no difference. Would Not recommend this mower. Junk.
Sorry to hear that, I haven't had any issues short of breaking the belt once. That was my fault running over a large limb. I put over 500 hours on it since I've purchased it and it is my favorite piece of equipment.
Don’t think we didn’t see that dilapidated John Deere in your lower yard. lol
Thanks for the video. 👍
That one is running now, no mower deck but it is a workhorse with the utility trailer.
