Love!!! My adult kids and I have been through hardships because of community services lacking and government services worse.....1 of my daughter's is 23 with Autism....We live in rural Indiana and no support.....I will never give up!!!! So thankful I found this today!!!! God bless you 🙌👐💜❤❤
My partner is disabled and I am neurodivergent and my partner is as well. We have had so much difficulty. I really wish there was a group for us to get involved with.
Can you direct me to the stat/research about 50% of people murdered by police are disabled? Can't remember exactly how you said it. I am working on my Doctorate in Traumatology and that would be so helpful. Thanks so much!
@@Bigfishfun333 neurodivergent is an umbrella under which conditions like autism, adhd, etc. fall. neurodivergent ppl can have different modes of communication, doing tasks, physical movement, sensory experiences, etc. than what is considered "normal". that however doesn't make them more stupid or less capable - just less suited to live in a neurotypical world like ours.
@@molotovmafia2406Interesting fact I learnt recently, the word normal as we understand it today, is only 200 years old. Calling people normal is a very recent phenomenon in the history of humankind.
@@TigerPrawn_ that is really interesting. Do you have a book, article, video clip, etc. that you could share where you learned about the history of the word normal. I would love to learn more about that.
This is just asking for basic human rights; “justice” would actually be that perpetrators of harm (and their descendants) would suffer the same crimes against humanity that they inflicted upon disabled people like torture, forced sterilization, Filicide (and then being blamed for being murdered), etc

Thank you for this video. I’m isolated and frustrated but encouraged by your work.
