You really make Ellie look like the bad guy in this game when you play it, man. Because she appears to be the most cold, calculating killing machine of any post-apocalypse in your hands. That was easily some of the best & brutal gameplay I've seen of this game. Cheers.
I mean.. neil druckmann already tried his hardest to make ellie the bad guy in part 2 no matter how you play the game.
But yeah i agree this guy is top notch.

If you interpret any of the characters in this game as solely good or solely bad, that's on you and in my opinion, you've missed the entire point of what both games are about. In my opinion, they're both about human beings doing what they can to survive in a dangerous, lawless and brutal world.
@@TheExperimentalFreak when Joel and Ellie want to reach Jackson in first game they killed a lot of people. They had a understanable goal but Abby and Ellie took that road just for killing one person. That is pure bad. And Neil indeed had gotten purpose of showing Ellie more evil but he failed it. I mean how can you best a person that kill a lot of people for not that reasonable goal, torture the man that just saved her life, live her life just like nothing happened, get together with a man that has a pregnant wife, plan to escape together, attemp to kill another pregnant woman. I mean having same kind of pain with Ellie and a dog dont make a people angle. She maybe saved a child from his tribe but she was still their butcher.

i love how visceral and brutal the combat feels
One of the grittiest games ever made, savage as fuck and you feel like a beast playing it, it's hard nailing both a story AND gameplay, 10/10 for me
This was absolutely stellar, just perfect everything-really captures Ellie's journey as a broken 'antivillain'. The pursuit for revenge felt incredibly visceral

Man I'm so happy you returned to this game. When you stopped posting them in 2020 a month or 2 after it launched I was very sad because this is the perfect game for your play style. I would love to watch you play this game for hours on end. That would be amazing. Please don't let this be the last part 2 video you make.

Best thing about this game is the combat. Story may have hit the mark but combat was soo sweat when we got to do it lol. You may have practiced these runs dozens of times but the way the animations are done it feels like it's all 100% improvised. Like when you have Ellie use a "runner" as a human shield for the "clicker" at the start
