No he wasn't depressed about his music or reaching the people as he says, he was tired!! Tired of the "act" that people only wanted to see, lightning the guitar on fire then destroying it on stage, playing the same stuff over and again! He was tired of that ridiculous touring schedule they (Mike Jeffery) him on!! Plus he knew he was being ripped off and questioned whom he could trust!! He literally in England had no home!! Staying with a girlfriend or a hotel room, etc. He was tired of the Experience as a 3 piece and wanted to expand the group to include other musicians, that's why Noel left. He questioned the money, he wanted the Experience to remain as a 3 piece. Noel actually envisioned the Experience as a means to get his songs out and perform them which is why formed Fat Mattress which opened for the Experience!! No Jimi was just sick and tired of the act which he'd been doing long before he got to England.

A few errors there. The intense tour sceduling was only in 67 and 68, when the band were trying to break Europe (67) and the USA/Canada (68). After that, Jimi got Jeffrey to group gigs around the weekends. From June 69 to April 1970, Jimi didn't tour at all. He took almost a year off!
Also, Jimi did have somewhere to live in London, he shared a flat with Kathy.

All the great guitarists have to start some where. Some of them start out solo and some start out with a band and stick with that band or move on to a bigger and better band…but they all start somewhere at the bottom. Hendricks needed his own band where he was free to express his talents. Look what happened to DLC….they were used and abused, and ripped off. I think Hendrix was done doing what he had to do. He made some money….don’t know how rich he was, but probably made enough where he could start doing what he wanted to do…..producing his own stuff. He had an average voice but with a decent lead vocalist, he could have developed a really cool band I think foul play definitely took place with regards to his death. Its too bad police didn’t think so at the time. They could have caught those responsible and have gotten justice by now. Instead they wait too long to do anything about it. I think it’s quite obvious who would have done it.

That is a popular myth. The heavy touring was back in '67/'68 when the band were breaking Europe, then the USA. ALL rising bands of the day did that. In 1969, Jimi toured little. He took 10 months off touring from June '69 to April '70. When he came back he only did gigs at weekends (apart from the last short tour of Europe). Jimi was tired because of other pressures and primarily because of his chosen lifestyle. As. for who was in the band, he did. what he wanted to, whether the management liked it or not. It's all in the (good) books.

@@penelopelopez8296 Jimi was producing his own material from 1968! He even constructed his own studio in partnership with Jeffrey. He was a great singer - listen to All Along The Watchtower. He wasn't murdered at all. A hospital spokesperson told the press that day that he died in the ambulance (which is why he was rushed to casualty - get it?). Even at the inquest, it was stated that he died in the ambulance. No murder.

Worked to death. Weary, fatigued and confused. Also, I believe a lot of the death fascination, or ideation, was because Mike Jeffery had threatened him at some point.
As for the circumstances, the amount of wine is rarely accounted for. People accept overdose, choking on vomit, the end. But, 2 or 3 bottles of wine were in his stomach, lungs, clothes and hair. However, hardly any in the bloodstream. If Jimi choked, fully clothed in bed, with one bottle of wine ass up, somebody must've kept pouring.

that is all accurate. I also intuit that he was messing with energies that he shouldn't have, blurring into the astral realm without an adept is dangerous. Definitely an inter-dimensional being and a once in an epoch talent.

Many more sources that I have read indicated that Jimi was not keen on heroin -despite rumors. I would guess that he may have tried it, but I am not convinced he ever got hooked or even used regularly. Also I understand that there was no evidence that he injected anything (not that this is the only way to use heroin). I also understand that he was disapproving of one of his lady friends using heroin. From what I gather, it was more mind expansion he was into. Later as he as run ragged, he medicated being up or sleeping which was common to performers who were heavily demanded upon to tour - to have their (his) rest and work balance chemically regulated. Whether he was murdered or simply mishandled (neglectful medical attention gotten to him in time) is another matter. At any time when one is destabilized, and all else around is too, things can go bad very fast. All the hangers on. All those around him critically did not act swiftly. I agree that Kathy E was the one stable woman in his life. Chas, though affiliated with Mike Jeffries also saw the writing on the wall. There is a thin line between letting an artist express themselves and having the space to do so and having the means of self destruction. There is a reason for the "designated" person or persons when people are partying. I think we like to assume conspiracy and intent because no one want to think that even a person like Jimi Hendrix could be in such a vulnerable position where people around him, including the ambulance attendants, can mess up. That is a big part of the tragedy here. It is what is so sad, just as it was with other performers who either had messed up people around them or had YES people around them as they decline. A tragic loss of a musical phenomena and life force. It is also sad that in America artists need to be exported or imported to be appreciated for their skills. Jimi was an American Mozart of the Electric Guitar.

You can see how far off they were in 1974...Look at Eddie Kramer saying he was sure it was an accident...The truth is because Jimi was so far out there and isolated himself with his talent it was easy for those people who were close to him to sell him out and ignore the obvious evidence that was never far away for his murder...They pulled that off until Kathy Etchingham showed her brave female defense for Jimi...She's the only one who stood up for Jimi the person and started the ball rolling that has now resulted in solid evidence for his murder that I am proud to say I am contributory towards...
