    lovely content there and to the point.
    Been boxing for 2 months now wearing 10oz gloves doing mainly pad works and sparring on occasions, i have started feeling pain on my knuckles towards the pinky and ring finger, Do you recommend 16oz gloves since im lightweight ??
    I am thin and i prefer to wear 16 oz gloves to protect my knuckles more plus with heavy gloves i can build my punch muscles. I would like to hear from you.

      Yo a question, how is the quality or like how is it after some months?
      For you I would say wear 12 oz or something for padwork bagwork, I think 10 Oz is more for hand conditioning and can off course hurt if you dont have high quality gloves like for 90-120€. Boxers when they are in the fight wear 10 Oz and break their hands with perfect quality gloves, so I would go for 12 Oz for Padwork and 16 oz for Sparring

      If you have pain in your knuckles at your ring and pinkyfinger, then you're not hitting the target right. Try work on hitting it with the front 2 knuckles consistently, before you consider switching gloves.
      For extra hand protection gloved above 12 oz are recommended.

      @@stankovic4642 Im the same height and weight as you and I just bought 16's because thats what the package they came in recommended for my weight. It said 14's are for 145-165lb fighters.

    I'm 5'5 and 56kg, I'm a flyweight and I use 10oz gloves for padworks, bags and sparring. I've never felt pain in my knuckles, never had problem because I always use handwraps before I wear them gloves and I use gloves of higher quality like venum that cost more than 110$

      @@ZarkHussain i recommend 12 or 10 if you like speed but anyway its small details

      @BigWorldTV123 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I think you should get 10oz and 12oz for speed and agility cos they can replicate Real fight situations better cos they're light. But get 14oz if you're sparring. That's just my opinion but me I'm more of a speed, agility, tecnique, movement guy so I've always loved the 10oz, It depends really on your fight style

    • @ya7ioo
      @ya7ioo 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      i would recommend 16oz. it will be heavy but she will eventually get used to it and she will probably not hurt her hands or anyone else with it too much

      @AramBasmadjian-wz1wj 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @ya7ioo she's 11. No way. Probably 12 oz will be the best. She still doesnt have the strength to fight with the 16oz.

      spar with 14oz and above please. that's the general rule in boxing and fight gyms worldwide. 10-12oz for bag and mitts
