This is what happens when people don't use rational thinking about negative effects and consequences they have on other people. When someone uses vegeance to get back at game devs for an update that they don't like, they are ruining it for the entire ROBLOX community. I'm sure a lot of people dislike for that very reason, they should of thought about themselves. Although I haven't played ROBLOX driving games in months, it's just very sad to see so many of our favorite car brands get removed and only be replaced by car models that are not as good.
I'm slowly building up a huge game as a solo dev. If people do this to me when the game is done it will be super impactful as I'm a solo dev and I have an idea around it but it will cost a lot of hrs of time remodeling the models to be faker... As a solo dev these people are going to destroy my potential game and potential income in which will be used to fund bigger games with other devs. Tbh these guys don't know how painful coding can be and how much effort it takes to model and code 1 car and make it work with the game... Thanks venom for creating awareness as car game devs are not impacting anyone or any company, all we devs are doing is trying to create an experience for those who want to some what or are not fortunate to experience these beautiful and fast cars through a game...
It feels unfortunate for me because with me working on DriveLine X, I gotta deal with this now and its not fun when someone is trying to ruin current or future developers just trying to make a fun game for everyone to enjoy.
Welp hearing this makes me so worried ive been making a car game with my own models for a while now and ive been doing it for months my problem is those car brands disappearing which is a problem for me since one of the cars ive been making is Bmw. Most of the models ive made are bmws which quite makes me worried if i should continue the development or not
The people who report car models were definitely the kid in the friend group who never got invited to events and parties in school.
