The way I laughed and cackled at the screen during the kite fly was basically insync with the video!!! Thank you for the adventure and showing me around lovely Tianjin! LOVE this video!!!
That was one of my absolute favorite parts of the video. I had no idea you were doing commentary and I laugh out loud every time. Thanks for coming to visit. Made my month!
Wow what a dramatic restaurant John! The food looks so good love the grand piano and bar! Gorgeous views of the city and great antique market... love the butterfly! That library looks insane!
I am impressed by how good your videos are. I find them to be quite educational. I am planning to move to Tianjin in August 2023, we might run into each other.
If you ask a Tianjiner what I should do in Tianjin. He will tell you, buy a High-Speed Train ticket and go to Beijing. Only takes 30 mins. And if you ask a Beijinger what I should do in Beijing. He will tell you, buy a High-Speed Train ticket and go to Tianjin. Only takes 30 mins.... All jokes aside, I would recommend everyone try traditional Jianbing Guozi and Tianjin style Shaved ice.
Nice collaboration 😁 next time you have a tour guide in Beijing 😃 it's true sometimes after years we forgot the charm of some places and as China has so rapid changes some areas could be even unrecognizable.
@@JohnThomasAbroad yes I can see that and also subscribed to her Channel. Shenyang is fine I think, just everything closed and we have some new work pass cross district permits for leaving medium risk assigned district's. Also we should stay put and just move between home and work, that's it. Seems Tianjin already back to normal but you started also earlier with Virus 🤧😆
Tianjin is a cool city. Unfortunately it is too close to Beijing, a giant star, who absorbs most of the attention from outside, which makes other cities nearby shineless.
It is possible to search every city's tourism strategy, every city in China has its own special attractions and characteristics, and every city has its own special food.

Kite flying looks so cool, I have not done that for so many years!! Another great video John and Aleesyia!! 🙇♂️
It was so fun! I had not done it since I was kid. I now have a kite so if you come to Tianjin we could go fly a kite. 😆.
@@JohnThomasAbroad I will look forward to that very soon 👍

Dramatic is a great word to describe it.
You make Tianjin look so nice !
Absolutely worth a visit!
Becuase IT IS NICE!!!
It is nice, lol
It is all CGI. China is very backward. Third world country based on most western news. LOL
It’s like to begin a Paris tour with the visit of a Chinese restaurant.
Really like your attitude towards life. It’s always so cheering. Life is beautiful when you enjoy living it.
So true Fei!
If you are seeing Aleese, you should see Amy soon! Collab!!
Love her laugh, lol
Very fun video, now that Aleesyia has such beautiful new hair style I bet more people want to touch/feel her hair. :)

5:30 Also as a library lover this library has been added to my bucket list, but idk how I feel about the printed on books!

I’m trying to put Tianjin on the map! Showing as much as I can of this amazing city. It’s tough being next to Beijing but we will keep shinning. 😆 💫
Tianjin is not underrated if you know the history
And BJ took all he resources as well. It's amazing that Thanking can develop into the city it is today.

Not sure but I love the idea. Especially the part about the food.
Hay quá
I have been here multiple timew. Definately a German vibe. I heard Harbin also gives a euro vibe. Probably moreso on the Russia side
I still need to visit Harbin.
The Neighborhood they visited Is the Italian concession of Tientsin. Not a German vibe.
My father was working as an editor for those 党建 books, and no one is going to read them.
Really?!? That’s an interesting fact.
