    I built one with my dad 2 weeks ago. You should definitely get locking slides they're so much better.

    You mind telling me all the measurements of wood you used?

    • @HF_AUTO

      I have the paper of the blue print somewhere. I can tell you all of them tomorrow. But I do plan on doing some changes to it though! So stay tuned

      @@HF_AUTO thanks ! Would be helpful because I don’t have tools. Wanted Lowe or Home Depot to cut it for me

    This makes me wanna get an off road vehicle! Have you gone to summit county for any off roading?

    • @HF_AUTO
      @HF_AUTO  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You should get one! We’ve done a little by summit county not too much. Plan on exploring more & more!

    The wood you chose its not ideal.. better use solid plywood and definitely locking slides, they ain't so cheap, but worth any penny

    The platform would feel too high to sleep

    • @HF_AUTO
      @HF_AUTO  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It’s actually perfect. I used a mattress topper & I can still sit up straight without my head hitting the headliner.

      @@HF_AUTO Not trying to give you a hard time...but there is no way that you can sit up straight on that platform and not be hitting the headliner. Still a cool concept, thanks for the vid.

    2x10's aren't actually 2" by 10" because men in the industry like to exaggerate the size of their wood
