I don’t think everyone realizes how much Ryan loves Christmas!! This was a dream of his to do a Christmas cruise!! Thanks for watching :) Hope everyone had an amazing holiday!
Yay another cruise! We have done a very merry Christmas cruise on Disney before… our next cruise is a New Year’s one, flying to Los Angeles in 1 day. Can’t wait for more vlogs 🎅 🎄🚢☀️
Nice!! A New Years vlog is definitely on our list, you’re going to have a blast. What a great way to start 2023 🎉🥳 have a great trip and thanks for watching!! 😎🍻☀️
Im taking my girlfriend on her first cruise, straight to the big ships on Allure. little nervous hoping she likes it but I am pretty confident she will be amazed by it! Great work again!
I haven't, I do make sure I follow all the local guidelines and laws. It's a bit of hassle actually. I use an app that basically tracks airspace and request permission to fly the drone for most areas in the United States. For LA, I had to obtain a license with the FAA and do a test. Before the cruise as well, I will Google any local laws of any of the ports were visiting. I don't know if anyone would really catch me if I disregarded the laws and was just responsible with it but I really don't want a fine or the drone confiscated.
What drone do you fly? We use the DJI Mini 3 Pro, and managed to fly ‘Daphne’ on our recent Independence run out of Miami at the end of January to Labadee - from both the parking garage of Terminal A as well as the day before from South Point Beach the afternoon before. We are sailing on Explorer mid March 😊. Cheers, James
We have a DJI Mini 2, pretty outdated now but it's not too bad. There may have been some drone restrictions at the time, Miami is filled with Helicopters I just follow what the Air control and LAANC says I can do in the area at the time. We are back on the Explorer in May! Looks like they added some slides and some small improvements since we were on! You're going to have a great cruise 😎🍻☀️
@@ryanandkala Thanks for the quick response - likewise, we always check local regulations and restrictions when flying Daphne. Surprisingly, when we were flying from the rooftop at Miami Terminal A, it was a 60 meter ceiling above our point which was fine. Below is our drone footage from our recent run (Labadee was strap to arm camera). We are sailing on Explorer again in November on a transatlantic back from Barcelona, as well as to Norway this June on Anthem. Hopefully the Ep. 15 link works, Cheers, James Ep. 15 - ‘Daphne II’ soaring high in Miami, and cinematic photography in Haiti th-cam.com/video/1ViWO8e6Nas/w-d-xo.html
@@H-Travels Wow those sound like some amazing cruises! Norway is definitely on the list. Thanks for the link the footage is awesome and that's a great spot to send up the drone 😎🍻☀️
