Nice work and analysis Tone! Just when we finished one epic book now another to dive into. Luca is a great guy we’ve had him on 2Legs previously and will again to review the book in detail. Like you pointed out, having the footnotes on the side is a nice easier way to follow along. Indexing, structure. And it only goes up till 89 😂

It's funny because I thought I was done with Beatles books a long time ago, but we have now had 3 really great books that give us a lot of stuff that we haven't read before. Morning Tone, enjoyed your comparison video. I do have the first copy and it was very helpful to me in finding songs of Paul's that I had missed in my collection, that was in 2019. I ordered this book because basically I have forgotten most of the stories and this will be a new read for me if you know what I mean. I did hear a chat on Two Legs with Luca and he really knows his stuff. Looking forward to receiving this, take care!

Great overview Tone. I have a fair amount to read at the moment, so this won't be one I need to rush out and get right away, but it's certainly one that shall go on my list. The unreleased section seems really interesting as well!

Thanks again for a great video! I had the older version, which was great, but hard to read as the font was so small! Nonetheless it was an excellent resource to have. But the new book (which, as you know, I have had for a bit) is a great improvement. Outside of the McCartney Legacy I would argue that this is probably the most important book for any Macca fan to have on their shelf. There is more info in there on the few songs I've had the chance to compare (Phil Ramona sessions etc! - still trying to get to the bottom of that mystery). The new book's format is great and much easier to handle than the old one. Luca has done a great job and provided to great resource to the Macca community! Thanks for shining a light on it.

BBC are hiding behind impartiality but the rule doesn't apply to non- news/political journalists such as Lineker and there is a precedent set when Alan Sugar tweeted at the time of the election for people not to vote for Jeremy Corbyn and no action was taken. Its a complete farce and Im totally in camp Lineker

I made a decision to get the audio book and getting through the book has been a balancing act of general life, working full time, making videos for the channel and of course as you say listening to music. Having the attention span of one of the muppets as far as actual reading goes, I found the audio book allowed me to make that balance.
@@beatleytonesbeatleschannel I do enjoy reading. But have got to be in a totally right mindset to do so. The Get Back book I cruised through in a few nights. But that was no massive novel. I’ll get there one day. I listen to a lot of music on my short drive to and from work. And the rest on the few points of relaxation time on the weekend. I’d have a hard time giving that time up to listen to someone reading a book to me.

Hi Julia, I hope you enjoy the books when they arrive. On the Archives, Id be really surprised if there isn't at least one archive collection out this year - really suprised. Although I still fancy it will be two realised on the same day. There doesn't seem to be anything much going on with Paul recording wise so this would-be. prefect time to get something out to fill the void. Ive not heard anything about a Got Back tour - from what I understand and from clips Ive seen from fans videos his voice was not great on the tour, however I speculated that they might be something from the Glastonbury gig because he was in such great form that night and was so well received both with the live audience, the media and just general tweets etc . No news on anything coming for that but keeping a close eye on developments. Glad you enjoyed the video and the channel content in general. Is that the vinyl box that youre looking for or the CD version - Im guessing the vinyl - man that is so expensive! Yes there will be a new Archive deep dive coming in a couple of weeks. There has been so much going on and im aware it's been a while since the last one.
