When it comes to Dr's I prefer old doctors because of the experience in the field. My gynae/obstetrician was 72 years old in 2015, my son's urologist who was very old (80 something years), our ENT is also old. in a nutshell when choosing Dr's/specialists I go for older ones and they are the best.
I know Orah, am an old client of hers she’s such an amazing lady. Beautiful lady inside and out. I wish you the best Sesi with the corrective surgery 🌺💖
This should be a lesson to a lot of woman out there... Here's my take: as woman especially mothers it is completely normal for one's body to change after every pregnancy or just aging, wether we like it or not the body goes through a lot of changes 😢 is not easy to accept but it the reality we're facing and i think we just have to work hard on accepting the changes and continue with life. Guys we're already going through a lot why also put our bodies under unnecessary pain that has a chance of taking a worse turn. No body is. Perfect and no body ever will be perfect that's just the reality 😊
It's easy to give advise to such situations more especially when you haven't gone through it. If the result was positive this was going to be cheered on. Every surgery is risky and before you do it, you know that the outcome could be negative or positive.
@@PanaNorBobo Hi my love ❤️ I'm sorry if I said anything offensive 😞... I only meant that to me it's a lesson that I should accept my body as it is and also accept the changes that comes with pregnancy and aging and also encourage the upcoming generation to embrace all that to avoid such results... I apologise if it came out negatively ❤️
It's a powerful message that our bodies go through many changes, and that's perfectly natural. Sharing this perspective is valuable for our audience, thank you.
@@PanaNorBobowhy do it in the first place.its only people who struggle to love themselves who go to this kind of surgery. Even if the surgery was successful I would never dream of doing it. Your words mean a lot! Having open, honest conversations is what Unpacked is all about. I'm grateful for the opportunity to connect with so many incredible viewers.
Babe I went to a black business to get IV drip , and I fainted woke up at the hospital now I safer from panic attack..i will never ever support black business I'm sorry
Extra-ordinary self drvien black businesswoman. The passion to give business to fellow black person is so true, as I can second that as she support myself in my Quality/Health & Safety business. Important to learn from what she is saying here is DUE DILIGENCE, which also talks to such practice having an ISO 7101:2023 Quality Management for Healthcare. It shall be well ODB!
It's a valid point you've raised about reviews, and it's a good reminder for all of us to be thorough in our research. It’s crucial to look at comprehensive feedback before making such important decisions.
But who ever who did her nose Job did it so well. But what I don’t like about nose job in South Africa is, their clients speak with blocked like nose all the time 😢
Anyone considering surgery must sign a informed consent. This means that the doctor must tell you about possible complications. All surgeons will have a complication at some point. This must should be handled professionally. The HPCSA does not say a surgeon should refund you in case of a complication but you must be informed upfront that there may complications.
And never decided on a particular doctor based on their social media post. They only share their best work and don't be easily impressed by the work they have done celebrity influencers, again that's their very best work.
Your caution is wise. We should always remember that social media is a highlight reel. It’s essential to look beyond and get a full picture of a professional’s track record before making a decision.
That's very brave of her. I feel like the first woman who her surgery went wrong was supposed to come out it would've saved a lot of them from the pain the are facing now.
Bravery comes in many forms, and sharing one's story to help others is certainly one of them. Thank you for recognizing the courage it takes to speak out.
I do not think the doctor is a scam, I think he rushed to have his own practice/ surgery he wasn't eligible to work on his own he needs to work with someone who has been practicing to learn from before he can be independent same as any other career you can't qualify now from the school and think that you are ready to work on your own even though you did your practical training program we need to give ourselves time to serve under someone to be supervised before you start you own thing and this doesn't mean black doctors are bad he just underestimated the need of a mentor or wasn't advised well gore just because you qualify to do something doesn't mean you are capable of doing it, handle it or afford it or else you will tarnish your name which will take away your ability to provide for your family and to do what you like or have studied for
We had botched surgery from a white Dr in Flora hospital in Randburg 2016, will never forget. After investigation, I found out he was a pychometrist 😢😢😢😢😢
The guest and any other patient can lodge a complaint at the Health Professions Council of South Africa. All she has to do is go on their website and lodge a complaint. They will investigate the complaint and if necessary, appoint an expert at no cost to her.
It’s wonderful to hear about positive experiences, and I’m glad your journey went well. Adhering to professional advice is key to recovery, and I appreciate you sharing your success!
Let's normalise loving ourselves Some people do surgery cos it can save their lives. Some do it for selfish desires. When you are struggling to love and appreciate yourself u will do surgeries that dont benefit u and a driven by selfish motives
I think the surgeon was qualified but not really experienced.I also don't think it is fair on him to ask you to pay for the corrective surgery. He is the one who was at fault. I actually think the reason why he only had two reviees on his side was because he was threatening people with negative feedback to delete their comments. A big red flag
Absolutely, one individual does not define an entire profession. We have many dedicated doctors in SA who do incredible work every day. Thanks for highlighting this.
I used to be a scrub tech in surgery and a wound nurse. There are so many people that I managed their wounds at home from surgical injuries long after surgery 😮
Your experience highlights how crucial postoperative care is. Thank you for the work you've done and for sharing this important aspect of patient care.
You bring up a great point about the necessity of before and after pictures. They can be an essential part of researching and making informed decisions.
While Orah didn't share her doctors details, I'd like to remind everyone to do their due diligence and seek out as much information as possible about any medical professional they are considering.
She didn't, she hasn't. My understanding was When he said he will repay the funds and whilst awaiting repayment she then posted the review and he stopped payment then engaged his lawyer...
We didn't cover all details in the episode, but it's a good question. Recovering costs in situations like these can be challenging and is often part of a larger legal process.
I understand your concern for more information. However, it's important to respect privacy and legal considerations. Our focus is on sharing the impactful stories of individuals and the lessons we can all learn from them.
Exactly. She didn't do enough research... And asking for before and after examples, only 2 days before the operation. After having paid is irrational... She should've taken her time saving and paying for the best service
He had a 5-star review on Facebook based on the 1 review....that is very suspicious. No before and after pictures ....another red flag. He was cheaper and less detailed in his consultation...Sounds very sus in retrospect I'm sure.

My sister there are medico legal lawyers who can take on your case and you can pay once you win the case
How if someone doesn't win?!
Will she still pay the lawyers?
Happy to have you back 🙌🙌🥺🥺
The best Doctor in SA is Dr Bruce Lelale, my mommy makeover went well with him and he was very strict with me to adhere to rules so I recover.
It’s wonderful to hear about positive experiences, and I’m glad your journey went well. Adhering to professional advice is key to recovery, and I appreciate you sharing your success!
Ooh let me go see your journey on your channel 🚶🏾♀️
Great interview, Sis Relebogile was very well researched on this subject 👏🏼
Thank you for watching! 🙏🏾
Thank u for sharing your experience, l learned, as for me l won’t do any fixing on my body
This plastic surgeon is Christopher Duntsch wase South Africa
The one who botched her or the one who is doing the corrective surgery?
Let's normalise loving ourselves
Some people do surgery cos it can save their lives. Some do it for selfish desires.
When you are struggling to love and appreciate yourself u will do surgeries that dont benefit u and a driven by selfish motives
Please look for a lawyer who can assist you on a contingency fee basis. It is a success based arrangement where you only pay if you win. Best wishes.
What a terrible experience my sister! I love your positivity through it all. All the best. 😊
It's always heartbreaking to hear of such experiences, but positivity and support can make a big difference. Thank you for your kind words.

This particular Doctor, does not represent all Doctors in SA. There are so many good doctors in SA, who work tirelessly to save lives.
Absolutely, one individual does not define an entire profession. We have many dedicated doctors in SA who do incredible work every day. Thanks for highlighting this.
It's true there are best doctors in SA for this procedure
No need to go international
Those doctors internationally can also mess you up
Amen to that
I watch Botched on E, patients/clients stay admitted for 1-2weeks in the hospital for observation
It's call baby body one yr of gym and exercise is enough ladies never have a pregnancy until you get rid of the body you got your precious baby ❤

The way my breasts are sensetive. I do think I would be the right candidate for breast lifts and all
Eish ziyingozi lezinto sometimes.😢😢
Turkey best place
The name of the doctor please. Cause wow he did you dirty 😢
I’m concerned about the two reviews atleast the must be over 500 reviews on his page or 200 ke yazi 😢
When it comes to review,I'm always conflicted as to how do you know those reviews are genuine and not collusional?!
No before and after😮 just 2 reviews😮yhoo
And she proceeded to the same doctor 😮
Because he was cheap...
Exactly what I said
You bring up a great point about the necessity of before and after pictures. They can be an essential part of researching and making informed decisions.
That is why heisty Decision is always Risky.😊

Who’s this doctor ? His name please to save others
While Orah didn't share her doctors details, I'd like to remind everyone to do their due diligence and seek out as much information as possible about any medical professional they are considering.

I thought everyone signs consent before a surgery.
Sorry for experience though
What is the reason for making anything to your breast accept yourself before going to wrong doctors😢😢😢😂
Orah my beautiful friend, we have lost contact. Wish I can reach out and give you a huge big hug right now 😢❤
Reaching out with support and empathy is what our community is all about. Orah's strength is inspiring, and I'm sure she appreciates your kind words.
I don't believe she didn't sign the consent form
Research was not done enough netcare jospitals got black doctors csn do good job

Be happy with what God gave you?
Nipple bitten off by a chihuahua 😂😂😂 oh my word!😂. I hope the 2nd surgery went well man.

❤❤❤
Artificial beauty is not good?
Sorry k.
No victims here. Just a risk taker
im sorry but this lady was naive and gullible
how do you take the doctors word and two reviews as a go ahead to make permanent changes on your body??????
she should stop saying she did he research because clearly didnt and because if she did ,all this would have been prevented - and for mere fact that she chose the second doctor just because he was cheaper when she said herself that the first one was more detailed is just crazy business
if she really wanted to do the procedure she could saved up for the R15 000 to go to the "better" doctor
not that she deserved it but 2 reviews and someone just making you comfortable can never be a good reason to trust someone about to do surgery on you
and sometimes this mentality ya gore i want to support black business wont work for every situation
batho ba ba nthu like monetising every single thing - they can see you are in desperate need and will still scam you and now who lives with the after effects/consequences YOU
sometimes just stick to the "white" people even for just a second opinion before doing something so drastic
