      I found out about this while I was waching a skeppy video where he traps 100 kids in a minecaft bedrock box and gets them to do challenges. I’m the comments, someone asked him to trap the kids in a menger sponge. I looked it up, loved it, and am making one out of perler beads.
      Then, as I was looking at pictures of menger sponges, this shape was among them. I looked them up, and love it just as much!

    These Madelbrot zooms are always trippy in that it seems like everyone is moving its focus away from the "center", while in reality it is zooming in without changing the focus and it's the fractal itself dodging the focus.

    • @svensify
      @svensify 6 ปีที่แล้ว +30

      You're right. Our entire universe is for sure just a millionth fraction of a sandcorn under trillions of others, that are all inside one bigger drop, that is just a drop amongst trillions of equals, those again are contained in a bigger drop and the endlessness is so unimaginable, that there will be beings bigger than this size, staring at us though microscopes like we do with quarks and neutrons, electrons and protons inside atoms, that a couple of years ago were the tiniest objects we knew of. Years pass and there will always smaller objects be found in them, with functions, tasks, reasons. Even smaller ones every few years and even bigger ones than what I mentioned in the beginning. Everything existing is really endless and the world "just" begins to dare to realize and at least assume this, what "I" was telling my father when I was 6. A time, were the atom was the tiniest object imaginable...

    • @RogerTheil
      @RogerTheil 6 ปีที่แล้ว +12

      Just watched an interview where NdGT explained that it's likely that, in the same way that a 3 dimensional cube is made of six 2 dimensional squares (which in turn is made of four 1 dimensional lines), and a 4 dimensional cube is made of eight 3 dimensional cubes, our perceived plane is but one of those eight cubes that make up the 4th dimension. Keep in mind all the importance given to the number eight in traditional religions and symbologies, as well as the reference to the 9 worlds [of consciousness], the 9th being the "you" transcending them, and keep in mind the concept of these fractals, and that seems to point one in at least the direction of Truth.
      NdGT mentioned that the scientist working in this area of String theory say there seems to be at least 10 of these dimensions, so, like a fractal, this unfolding of reality through dimensions seems to extend at least that far, but for all we know, maybe even further. Maybe infinitely, who knows. Just something I've been pondering.

And I feel like dreams and trips are like me venturing into other parts of my general consciousness. But it's also the consciousness that you have, you're just a different version of consciousness perceiving itself. It's what I do. Perception=existence. Existence=everything.

      It might in fact be too complicated to teach it this early in school, but teacher should at least show it - to raise interest and fascination for math. The way math is usually taught is dull and without any inspiration, experienced rather as a burden than a benefit.

    The sheer volume of sacred geometry and global symbolism that repeats itself within this single equation is profoundly stunning. Never forget that the Mandelbrot Set was but a potential series within the 'number set' of the universe itself. This is the face of the Dharma, of quantum physics, of the nonlocal fractaline reality, in and by which we exist. THIS is a piece of higher truth, a glimpse into the mysteries.

    I have been in love with Mandelbrot and Julia sets since I was introduced to them on one of the original Wang computer processors back in the early 1980’s. Back then it took ten days of continued program running to generate one tiny repetition of that image, and three boxes of 500 sheet continuous paper, and one week to print enough of the image to demonstrate it 2 dimensionally. Stunning binary imagery. I imagine this is how multiverses are formed.

    Ive always had huge anxiety while watching stuff like this. I bet it has something to do with the minds natural pattern regonizing and the fact that even tho these shapes are kind of organic in these fractals they are still mathematically correct and it causes ”clashing” in the pattern regonizing and that makes your basic instict think the thing you are seeing is a threath.
