TheBus is the transportation system here in Honolulu, Hawaii on the island of Oahu. It is ran and operated by both Oahu Transportation Services and Honolulu County. TheBus has two yards for the fleet which is Pearl City Manana and Kalihi-Palama. TheBus currently holds 480+ buses and 117 routes. It has been established and opened to the public in the year of 1971 and has been running since then.
Route 11 is one of the routes in TheBus system. On June 2nd, 2024, Route 11 will be PERMANENTLY discontinued. The route services Alapai Transit Center heading down West to terminate at Pearlridge. This route also services Downtown Honolulu, Liliha St, Vineyard Blvd, H1 Freeway, The Mall at Pearl Harbor, Makalapa, Halawa, Aiea Shopping Center, and Aiea Heights. The route runs from 6am through 10pm. Route 11 is based off both the Pearl City Manana and Kalihi-Palama bus facility
