Still no post fade compression? Meh. You guys seem to only know limited music mixing and not conference mixing. When you have many types of voices with many different use of a mic, post fade compressors (like those on the old DM series) makes mixing multiple speakers on a mic MUCH more efficient and smooth. And it can be very useful for singers with a wide range of vocal levels. Get back in touch with the helpful concept of post fade compressors!
Hi. You can always use any of the two insertion slots in post-on mode. You can use an internal plug-ins (including Rupert Neve 7,8 or Portico) or your favorite external compressor. The CL / QL series also enjoy this insertion point, highly recommended also for the optimization of the Dan Dugan processor.
