I kind of felt the same way about Plonk, then I figured out there's menu-diving for sound design experiments when you're not performing and then you can save the "instruments" you design for live playing and modulation with all the knobs and inputs. I'm still not any good at it... I just lean on my QD by vpme for drum sounds 😅
You're absolutely right. But I feel like I'm leaning more and more towards modules that deliver immediacy. Maybe out of laziness ... Anyway, I'll try the Ultra-Perc and then decide whether or not to keep the Plonk.
