The high value wilderness farming spots are absolutely monitored by pks. Or you'll have people gate-keeping those spots. They see someone move in, then get on their PK to push people out.
Yep thats me but really us vets with 20-30 link hell even less, dont need to do that we just push them out and steal kills. Fuck these noobs stick them in the dungeons to rot
Been enjoying Ultima Outlands, I tried the original game about 6-7 years ago but couldn't get into it, but this version has sucked me in, I haven't had this much fun on an old mmorpg since legend of mir 2, which was a korean mmo that came out in 2001 which is still huge in korea/china, similar mechanics in combat, and fighting over bosses, guilds battles etc, very fun.
The beauty of Outlands is that even the "level 1" newbie mobs have a small chance to drop highly valuable loot (iirc?). So sure, while the individual mob doesn't drop as much gold as a deep dungeon one, you're dropping them much faster - giving you more "slot machine pulls" per hour (albiet at a lower "jackpot" rate). Plus it's fun sometimes to feel OP compared to low or mod-tier mobs lol. Does Outlands still have randomly spawning dynamic events on the roads and wilderness? I think when I last played, there were sometimes packs of rat people that would randomly spawn on roads with barrels and had pretty decent loot. Idk if that was just for an event, or an always kind of thing. Now I'm kinda itching to play it again 😬🤔 LoL
What about a video of the cheap aspects you can start with to transition into the expensive ones? Like Dexxers starting with earth and moving into air later for exmaple. Also maybe look at budget builds that work with cheap aspects, that would be really cool. Thanks for the vids, as a new guy to Outlands they are super helpful and informative
Its Better to start with the aspect you want to main directly. Just farmi the Gold beforehand with a scavanger or gatherer. You can maximize It with triple boxing gatherers if you want to tryhard. Boring but far Better than waiting time on trash aspects
Another good thing about wilderness farming is that you can res yourself if need be! Just have a reader ready with all the farming spots and jump in and take care of business!
If I was going to change anything about the dungeons.... I would give a higher rare loot drop rate for those who are using holy aspect.. cause I mean like... HOLY OP
@@PwnstarrGaming Hell yeah, they really nailed the balance well. So many Shadow variations are viable depending on what links you have and where you hunt, really makes you think about options to maximize those 1-taps. Loving it.

I dont think this is accurate. I've been PK'd a lot in the wilderness. Dungeons although crowded, have one big benefit , they have people who will attack the PKs and Thieves. Now its not all the time, but its a lot more than the wilderness. Plus, i get warnings in my alliance chat for dungeons. Loot, this also seems a lot better in the dungeon than in the wilderness. and yes, can they stop stealing ingots and wood. its really kinda stupid and without skill.
I dunno I farm outerworld stuff but sometimes you get tracking PKs that hunt you down. I try to hug the portals in Orc Mine and stuff. I seem to find way better loot in outerworld random mobs.
th-cam.com/video/eGkPAQJeMLU/w-d-xo.html this was posted right at wildlands launch... or possibly a week or two prior. For MOST i'd suggest dropping MR / CAMPING and picking up Necro.. But I like to get in pvp fights so i keep MR. Also.. I still use void/eld. Love not running out of mana often and being able to constantly farm like a dexxer vs having to sit and med.

I thought all thieves were in the wilderness. I cant take 10 steps with my lumberjack even in the most remote part of the world without thieves showing up and following me around to pinch a few logs.
Most wilderness farming sucks unless your a mage of some sort and can port from spawn to spawn. Most of the spawns are A. Either for noobies or dont contain enough good mobs/slow respawn to be worth it. The POI that are good are routinely visted by pk or if even 1 other person is their farming it becomes not worth it. The Exception to this is wildlands but those mobs are most for 20 30 link characters.
whoa, a propaganda video, eh? you really think we dont know you're just trying to get Forest nerfed so that people are forced into the dungeon for your thiefer? it's gonna work.
@@PwnstarrGamingthank you I have one more question what kind of operating system does it need besides windows 10 like ram, video card, processor and gigbyte
I think at the end of the day it's more about the convenience of access to dungeons that keeps people away from the wilderness. Unless you go copy or have access to a wilderness spawn runebook, a dungeon will always be a faster way to action unless you go explore the wilderness and find the spawns yourself and then make your own runes. Ain't nobody want to make the initial investment.
They need to just get rid of this "no recalling" in a dungeon nonsense, it creates a super slow and painful process for most players and overwhelmingly favors PK'ers vs PVM characters. Its a fundamental flaw in the game where they have a bunch of PVM builds where the abilities LITERALLY do not work in PVP. Then they go and trap these people in a dungeon with little to no way to escape. All its doing is feeding this crappy ganking culture of PVPers who don't want real combat and just want easy kills. It used to be that you could fight back and stand a chance in classic UO, but now its gotten so off the rails that unless you're fully specialized in PVP the odds of you being able to kill someone is near impossible. So you've got this captive audience of people who just deal with the bullshit system and slowly quit as they get tired of it. I appreciate the work around video, but why not just address the core problem here in that the PVM vs PVP build stuff is broken. Grim did a good video on his PVP stuff and its really shows a honest view of what PVP is like in the game. Which is anything BUT PVP, its PVMVP which is just opportunistic ganking and griefing of players. Its all reward and low risk for PVPers and Greys to just loot and dip out of dungeons while other people actually play the game, whats the consequence to a red who dies with just 50 of each reg and some trash armor vs. someone who has been farming for hours or has to wear expensive gear to deal with deadly mobs?
If you could recall into dungeons, you'd get PK'ed even more. They'd just instantly recall with 5 ppl into the best farm rooms, wipe everyone instantly before you can even react as Tracking would now be useless. As it is now, getting deep into a dungeon is no easy task for PKs, especially without high aspect to avoid mob damage, and they can easily get cut off by blues coming in after. On top of that, you get a huge heads up with Tracking.
@@ZapatosVibes What are you even talking about? You literally just have to summon an earth elem and you can run past everything, as most PKs do. Are we even playing the same game?
