The reason why this alexander is the best is not because he is bigger or stronger. Its solely because he has some story value and isnt a game-mechanic.
Out of all the Alexander's in Final Fantasy, Type-0's is by far the most lethal and powerful. Switching from the typical image of a Holy Guardian who protects the weak and smites the forces of darkness, to more of a rageing crusader seeking righteous vengeance (You can see this in the fact that it literally took the lifeforce of others in order to summon itself into existence). Furthermore, I wouldn't necessarily call the "Divine Light" attack of Type-0's Alexander a Holy-aspected magic/physical attack. It was more an intense burst of energy that literally disintegrated the molecules of anything in its wake. VERY reminiscent of the drones from 2013's Oblivion movie starring Tom Cruise. Lastly, Lady Caetuna sounds like one of the stereotypical apathetic religious fanatics who view anything as "Gods will" and cannot discern right from wrong or what's moral or ethical

Tidus0203 I'm not oblivious to the convenience of it. In fact I've played it in both languages all the way through. The english allows you to focus more on the cutscenes and gameplay in stead of trying to read dialogue at the same time. That can take away from the experience. However, the english voice acting has been widely panned. The majority agrees with me on this for better or worse. The way they deliver their lines is horribly flat or completely overacted and, for the majority of the characters, they really don't fit what's going on in the scene or even with the tone set by the other voice actors in the SAME SCENE. It's a joke overall. Thankfully the game is fun and the story, when looked at as a character study, is pretty interesting.
Joe Ramirez even though you could say there's more emotion in the japanese VA, the emotion and the context is lost if you have no idea what they are saying. if you have to read it you miss the cut scenes and parts of them talking and tbh, you're adding most of the emotion in your own mind as you read it anyway. personally i'd rather have english VA so i can listen and watch awesome cutscenes like this rather than enjoy well delivered cheesy dialogue that i dont understand or actually care about the delivery of, but i can see how the reading of it may appeal to others. i think its kinda like a book vs movie sort of thing where your own imagination makes it better but idk.
