Thank you so much for this video and your channel! As someone with a learning disability taking an art history related class, I find it really hard to concentrate when they spend most of the time giving long descriptions of the paintings. I really appreciate how straight to the point this is!!

I'm so glad that you enjoyed this video! I try and make things easy to understand. I love art history and could go on and on, but that defeats the purpose of my channel! Short, sweet, and to the point is my goal! Thank you for your kind words!

Lovely, I am a self taught artist and I have struggled with my style of painting . You answered my questions and I appreciated the brief history. When everything fails, read or listen to the history of these great Artists.
    Thank you very much.

As always; a nicely-done piece. :) 'Les Nabis' are a school I find fascinating, but sadly overlooked. They were an interesting bridge between the Impressionists and what some of the post-Impressionists were doing - the Cubists, the Symbolists, etc.

Is it bad that I think post impressionism is kinda quirky ugly?

DeGas was grouped with the impressionist but didn't paint like one.😮

Where would you say Joaquin Sorolla falls?

I would put him more in the post-impressionist movement, but its important to remember that these styles melded together and the dates aren't exact.
