      In my opinion Malice isn't a utopian . The authors of constitution were. It's both illogical and a pipe dream .

      Malice's point is a half-truth yes voluntary agreements are better for everyone but we literally created higher powers called governments and gods to help settle disputes within voluntary agreements. We have a legal system to settle our disagreements instead of relying solely on who has more force, either violence, money, or politic. There are situations where anarchy runs its course according to Malice's view, its called the cartels they submit to no higher power and they have voluntary agreements. Guess how they handle disputes within those voluntary agreements...

      @@GrimrDirge what I’m hearing, but perhaps misunderstanding, is an aggregate of imperfect models played out over thousands of years, often unintentionally or with misinterpreted outcomes, but slowly and hopefully improved upon over time to establish a tradition and culture of stories, simple in nature but interwoven into an abstract fabric of complexity and meaning beyond our ability to fully comprehend but better understood through a practical hero’s journey, where a young man or woman inevitably looks to throw off the ‘chains’ of the narrative they have been dealt in order to find their individual identity but, over time and through experience, comes to understand the reason for the traditions, thus seeking to return to hopefully add to the narrative, with calloused hands and heart, now seeing the cracks and faults in the foundation as their own. Sorry for the run-on but I got going and I don’t feel like editing since I may be way off anyway. 😅
      And the Marxist’s fixation on deconstruction is often the ‘hero’ failing to grow up and choosing their identity as holding the highest value. This fixation could have value if the foundation was irreconcilably corrupted, but the failing of the ideology is in its oversimplified view of seeing ALL systems and structures as ones of power where the majority intrinsically oppresses the minority.

      @Tyler_W 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      Disagree, depending on what you mean by capitalism, of course. If you mean corporatism, which is what we actually live under on the macro level, then yes, it requires the government to play favorites and pick winners and losers by interfering in and manipulating the market, but if by capitalism you mean the free market (which we only really have to some extent on the local level), then lthere's nothing necessitating any government at all. The free market is the natural state of human exchange of goods and services because it is devoid of government regulation, with the only possible exception of punishing fraud and exploitation. Malice is likely an anarchocapitalist. Capitalism kinda ceases to be a free market the more intrusively the government gets involved.

      He made a habit of socializing with ‘sinners’ and tax collectors, people definitely regarded as outcasts by the Pharisees.
      However, to the Pharisees Jesus rebuked their double standards, for when they questioned him about his disciples eating on the Sabbath, he pointed out to them “…in the Law that on the Sabbath the priests in the temple desecrate the day and yet are innocent…” (Matthew 12:5). Jesus seems to have had little patience for these kinds of inequalities. In Matthew 17:24-6, he hints at the unfairness of the temple tax. When the tax collector approaches him and his disciples upon entering the temple, Jesus asks Simon, “What do you think…From whom do the kings of the earth collect duty and taxes- from their own sons or from others?” (Matthew 17:25). The point being: of course, they collect taxes from others and exempt their sons.
      Jesus allowed himself to be anointed by a ‘sinful woman’ at the house of a Pharisee who had invited him to dinner, he washed his own disciples’ feet, and he even asked a Samaritan woman for a drink of water from her cup, all things considered, taboo in his time. Jesus went about teaching that basically all people are equal; it is their moral life that should be the reason for any inequalities.

More like you'll agree to government rule because you don't have to think about the consequences. I'm distracted so I could care less.
    People are so intelligent now and aware of how the game works because the curtain has been lifted. But at the same time people are extremely lazy and don't want to try.

    Telling your guest he has to be okay with you interupting him and not letting him finish a thought doesn't make it okay. It means you're aware you're being rude, but think doing it anyway is okay, because you said so.

      The concept of government has been present throughout much of human history, and its existence is often taken for granted as a necessary part of society. However, upon closer examination, it becomes clear that the existence of government is illegitimate, and even has many similarities to a religion.
      One of the key issues with the concept of government is that it often involves the delegation of rights that individuals do not have. This is a logical fallacy, as individuals cannot delegate rights that they do not possess. For example, if individuals do not have the right to steal from others, they cannot delegate this right to the government through legislative rituals. Therefore, taxation is an illegitimate practice, as it involves the use of force to take what rightfully belongs to peaceful individuals. Taxation involves the confiscation of an individual's hard-earned money without their consent. This is fundamentally unjust, as it violates the basic principles of individual rights and freedoms.
      Furthermore, history has shown that democide, or death by one's own government, has been a leading cause of death in the 20th century. This alone is a strong indication that the existence of government is not legitimate. Governments have monopolized many services, such as protection, parcel delivery, and arbitration, which has led to the quality of these services becoming worse. This is because competition among organizations is what leads to cheap and effective services, not a monopoly. When the government has a monopoly on these services, they become more expensive and less effective. Governments have the ability to assume power over individuals and use that power to commit atrocities and suppress dissent. The monopoly on power that government holds is dangerous and has led to countless instances of abuse throughout history.
      Moreover, the very nature of government resembles that of a religion, with symbols and rituals used to manipulate and control the masses. Government propaganda and rhetoric is designed to create a sense of loyalty and obedience, much like religious dogma. This is a dangerous precedent, as it allows the government to exercise control over individuals through fear and manipulation. The existence of government is also similar to a religion, as it involves a belief in an entity that assumes the right to do things which no individual would admit to having the right to do. Government is not the people who work for it, nor is it the buildings or the police. It is an entity that assumes power over individuals and their lives, often without their consent.
      In conclusion, the existence of government is illegitimate, similar to a religion, and taxation is an illegitimate practice. Individuals cannot delegate rights they do not possess, and the use of force to take what rightfully belongs to individuals is morally wrong. History has shown that the government's monopoly on services has led to the quality of those services becoming worse, and that democide is a leading cause of death. It is time for individuals to recognize the fallacy of government's legitimacy and work towards a society that is based on voluntary exchange and cooperation, rather than the use of force and coercion.

Size of the govt and it’s power has increased since covid so to say there is progress is a viewpoint far more “utopian” than his guest.

    While I don't think anarchy or a voluntary society is going to happen any time soon, I do think we should think in those times and fight the government at every turn and corner. For you anarchists out there, it is of interest to you to at least shrink the state down and you can see that as a step.

    If you want a country for an example just look at the United States, it was originally Anarchist under the Articles of confederation and Minarchist under the constitution…and this country thrived! Even though American government became a giant monster later on. You can also look at Israel in the Bible, Ireland, and just the economic freedom index that proves anarchy works. The more freedom you give the better the standard of living increases

      i was with you til that last one, how will the poor corporations survive without government stimmies (either directly from the printer or subsides), it would be ignorant of a statist to think corps are being supressed by the gov.

    • @Hibernial
      @Hibernial ปีที่แล้ว

      @@nitrosrt4Corporations so far as how they’re deemed as legal individuals while existing as business entities comes from State courts. In reality where only regarding property rights and not a legislative or government judicial committee’s definition, corporations and their assets are just capital resources which are still in the possession of an owner or corporate shareholders.
      It’s important to lay out how this granting of legal person hood to business entities is coupled under a regulatory environment of centralized banking, where shareholders receive inflationary funds doled put by a central banks legal counterfeiting that increases the money supply.
      Anarchism in practice were it more widespread and culturally embraced would see corporations as how we know them today gutted very similar to how the relevance of governments would be diminished.
