    Teach your children not to mock anyone. They don't know who they're messing with. As seen clearly in this story with the bears. Even adults who don't want to listen to God's prophets.

      @janeschaech5222 close, but there are no long "i's" in Hebrew. It is אלישע , but that app doesn't show the vowels. The aleph has an "eh" sound. The vowel below the "l" is like our long "e", so the "l" with the long "e" is "lee," then add the "shah" ending. EL-LEE-SHA. THE artificial system picks it up as Alicia, spelling it like that, instead of El-lee-sha. The 'yod' or "y" in Hebrew is also used as a vowel marker, in this case as the full sound of the "ee" vowel under the "l." Hebrew is fun, and can be learned to spell, write, and speak in 3 weeks. The problem w/ us westerners, I'd we need to see the vowels, since we were not brought up learning the vocabulary, which takes quite a bit longer. אמן ואמן (omein and omein)

    • @christopherchristy6328
      @christopherchristy6328 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Plus, many times the ending of Elisha extends to the ayin at the end, with an "ah" sound there, with a "u" below the "sh", making the word "El-eē-shu-ah" where you can see the closeness to Yshuah!

    When the Lord commands His priesthood to curse people or places or things, the outcome is NOT specified because that is up to God to decide; this is the absence of control, but submission to God, His vengeance. Those outside of God's kingdom who curse, specify an outcome which is the presence of control & vengeance. If you revile God's anointed, especially publicly, especially His prophets, you are damning yourself because it says in Corinthians that revilers don't inherit the kingdom of God....because you're reviling God.

    Along time ago, when I was in 4th grade, my parents sent me to a Baptist Church to attend Sunday School. On Sunday, the Teacher read to us this account of Elisha sending bears to kill the children because they made fun of his appearance. I was horrified by this story. I asked the Teacher why did Elisha ask God to kill the children. She told us that God made the bears kill them because they made fun of God's Prophet. I was quite upset about it. I didn't want to go to that Church anymore. But they made me keep going. We lived in southern California and often had mild earthquakes. I attended a public elementary school. We often had earthquake safety drills on what to do when there was an earthquake, such as, get out of the building, or get under the desk and cover our heads. One day at Sunday School, an earthquake hit. Our class was in the basement. Above us was where the adult Congregation held Worship Services. I knew that we were to get out of the building because if the quake was big, the building could collapse on us, and there weren't any desks to get under. When the shaking began, I blurted out "We need to get out of the building!" The Sunday School teacher said "No! We are in the House of God! We are protected." There were no windows in this small room so we couldn't see outside. We had to sit in our chairs. On the other side of the door was a large room with an exterior wall which was all windows, with a door to the outside. So beyond that was the parking lot. When the shaking stopped, the Teacher opened the door and stood there looking across the large room and seeing outside. All of us children got up and looked too. We saw the entire upstairs Congregation standing outside in the parking lot! When the earthquake started, they evacuated the building! Several weeks later my Mother told me that the Church was going to Baptize people into the Church. She asked me if I wanted to be Baptized. I said "No". Not long after that she quit making me go to Church.

      Sorry about your negative experience . I would like to add , that the scripture does not say the disrespectful children were killed .
      Rather they were mauled .
      This indicates being bitten and scratched .
      Take into account also that that particular generation had turned their backs on the LORD .
      Their parents following Baal under the queen Jezebel .
      My understanding is those boys got a much needed lesson that day .

      14+14+14=42 generations that will be changed by old and new testaments

    Hosea 13.8 I will meet them as a bear that is bereaved of her whelps and rend the caul of their heart and there I will devour them like a lion the wild beast shall tear them. In the beginning the serpent was referred to as a beast. Revelation the dragon was kicked out of heaven the serpent. The Bible was written out of imagination. David said I am a horn of a unicorn. Which is another story. Isaiah 59.11 We roar like bears and mourn sore like doves we look for judgment but there is none for salvation but it is far off from us. Jeremiah 23.23 Am I a God at hand saith the Lord and not a God afar off? Jeremiah 51.50 Ye that have escaped the sword go away stand not still remember the Lord afar off and let Jerusalem come into your mind. Job 12.7 But ask now the beasts and they shall teach thee and the fowls of the air and they shall tell thee. Jeremiah 31.27 Behold the days come saith the Lord that I will sow the house of Israel and the house of Judah with the seed of man and with the seed of beast. Ecclesiastes 3.18 I said in mine heart concerning the estate of the sons of men that God might manifest them and that they might see themselves as beasts. The dove represents the Holy Ghost. These three bare witness in heaven the Father the Word and the Holy Ghost. He shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost and fire. Peter said the heavens shall be on fire. Jeremiah is not my word like as fire saith the Lord or a hammer that breaketh the rock in pieces.

Now since this New Covenant has been established a person is to accept the Holy Spirit as their own truth and guide. Now if a person walks in the Spirit guided by the Spirit of Truth, they are not subject to the laws, because they are walking above the laws in the spirit by flat on the ground in this flesh. Better yet let's look at the curse that Elisha spoke?
    What I wonder is is he speaking the angelic language?

    God DID NOT send bears to kill anyone. Elisha did and judged those 42 boys with the law of Moses. Whichnthe new testament teaches is not of faith.
    You lot need to start studying your bibles properly, instead of posting garbage online

    No, kids died in this story because the Bible is not a literal book. The Bible tells you it’s allegories, parables symbolic get rid of religion in the church. It’s not needed just follow Jesus gospels and interpret what the words are telling you.
