I really appreciate your guitar examinations in an almost scientific approach. There are a lot of manufacturers out there that concentrate too much on the look and lack quality (Poor hardware, poor lumber, sticky laquer, painted fretboards, crude carving and yes, even pickups not fitting the bridge string spacing (e.g. BC Rich) and so on). Exposing this publicly is the only way to mybe get rid of this sloppiness. Another thing that might interest the willing customer is the spare parts availability and if there is a good product support.
I'm here for the KX500 but surprised by how good that Cort Les Paul sounded like. You haven't made a review of that, have you? This review of yours is really good, I really like your approach. Much thanks for the very detailed review.
I actually have this guitar . It’s great for the money and yeah the finish might be a veneer but the guitar looks and feels really nice. I’ve gotten some really good cleans with it too. You just gotta adjust your amp with what works for the guitar. Easily one of the most thorough guitar reviews, subscribed

Great review, Hwat tool specifically are you using to address the fret sprout here? looks like a sanding block, wood with sandpaper, what grit? thank you

I just found this review… I’ve owned my KX 500 Etched since spring of 2021… My fret edges are perfect.. My only issue is that the battery compartment is tiny.. I’m going to have to wrestle with the battery when it’s time to change it… The locking tuners were also over tightened… Other than that.. it’s golden. Is it just me or does anyone else feel like there’s not much difference in sound between The Fishman’s voice 1 and voice 2? I was expecting more of a noticeable difference…..
You have great reviews but the one thing that bothers me about people now days is that they think it's OK to get a guitar with something wrong with it. in no way is it ok to get any product with something wrong with it and it's because of this that where getting junk products

The KX500 is perfect, I have one, light, soft, aggresive and his sound with fishman pickups is very clear

The difference is subtle. With some amps it's a bit more noticeable than with others

First kx500 I got, the fretwork was so bad I sent it back, they sent me a new one and it’s pristine
