I'm a huge Exodus fan and have been since first hearing Fabulous Disaster in 1989 and pretty much enjoy all 3 vocalist. I've seen Exodus with Rob Dukes twice and thought he delivered live so I'm happy that Rob Dukes is back in Exodus and can't wait for the next release.
Great to hear your thoughts on this Trev! I cant lie, when I saw the news, I was confused at why it happened. I felt quite indifferent to find out Rob Dukes was coming back, not that I dont like him or anything (I dig those albums with him on vocals). It just felt like it was 2005 all over again haha! I'm very interested to hear their upcoming album now! 😁🤘🏻🤘🏻

Dukes rules! Loved his works on exhibit a and b. Love zetro also. What happened? As long as they knock out a Better Lp than the last one which was poor for me mate.
Agree, I didn't like Persona Non Grata at all, but I fuckin LOVE Blood In Blood Out, it's actually one of my favorite Exodus albums. But my first Exodus album, the one that majorly got me into the band, was Exhibit A. I was 18 and a fairly new metalhead when that shit came out and I still remember how blown away I was the first time I was blasting Funeral Hymn and Riot Act in my car. Absolutely crushing album. Later when Dukes left, I also liked that song Prophets of War he did with Generation Kill. It'll be interesting to see what Dukes brings to the table this time around!

I think a lot of people are praising his performances on the albums he was on and I think that misses the point. It’s not just about that but it’s about the live performances and how it comes off with him singing the classic exodus material. To me it doesn’t feel like exodus and I saw them a lot with him on vocals. So yeah, new album, great that’s fine. But I am in no way stoked to see them live anymore and probably won’t go out of my way to see them. That are headlining the fest April doing the whole bonded by blood album so this announcement was extremely disappointing. My friends actually said there are kea big early now. I wouldn’t do that but I will not enjoy it nearly as much
All Exodus singers have their strengths. I prefer Dukes because he sounds mean and pissed. But let’s be honest here, the band lives and dies by Gary. As long as he’s captaining the ship, they will be fine. I’m just curious how much input Chuck Billy had in this decision.

From what I remember, Dukes was pretty unpopular the first time he joined Exodus. I think that's what led to him getting canned. So the question then becomes: WTF is Gary Holt doing? Is there a method to the madness? Or is he repeating the same action and expecting a different result? Einstein's definition of insanity (at least attributed to him anyway).

I love Zetro, but im absolutely fine with Dukes coming back. His aggressive style definitely fits their sound these days. Cheers Trev

I agree with this. Dukes records with Exodus are my go to albums... I like the Zetro as well, but prefer the Dukes stuff.

Last two albums were weak compared to the Dukes run.
