    No replacement for folks in the PNW. You guys on the east or west side of WA?

    On the rear springs.. how do you know which leaf for which side? There is a + on one and o on the other

      from their website "All leaf springs will be labeled with either a “+”, “0”, or “-“ which signifies a tolerance of up to 3mm. “0” is exact, “+” is slightly above up to 3mm, “-“ is slightly below up to 3mm. " for reference both mine have 0. arrow goes opposite the shackle but driver/pass side doesn't matter

    what's the payload of the new springs?

    • @qouavang3646
      @qouavang3646 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Payload doesn’t change only ride quality does, you can never up the payload but you can stiffen the the load bearing

    How did you get the yellow plastic bushings into the leafs?

    • @JuryRigGarage
      @JuryRigGarage  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      All we did was coat the bushing with lithium grease and used a rubber mallet to tap it in.

      @@JuryRigGarage right on, my leafs came with black bushings I have to remove first. Looks like I need to press them out.

    Did you guys see any lean in the driver’s rear?? I just installed this same kit with the dakar leafs and Im 1.25” lower on driver’s rear vs passenger rear. Thoughts??

      Gas tank?

    • @oversizedoverlanding2365
      @oversizedoverlanding2365 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@badger2566 ended up only actually being 0.5" lower, due to gas tank though yes. I should have a coachbuilder 0.5" shim on top of driver shock and/or a shim under driver rear leaf pack

    Which Kit did you guys go with? I have a Tundra as well, and may just mirror what you guys did.

    would have been so much better if you showed you putting the new leafs into shackle and mount in the front, this is the part that seems most difficult

      Keep everything loosely bolted and it should be pretty easy
