My mother died 30 years ago at the age of 44 with hypertension, heart failure, diabetes and kidney failure. I was diagnosed with hypertension and diabetes at 25, but I reversed it in 2 years and have been off meds for 30 years. It was dietary changes that healed my conditions.

I 've watch a lot of kidney videos trying to get to the bottom of my condition, and by far, the way you explain it was so powerful. I reversed my CKD essentially doing what you've stated. I've had high blood pressure since my teens. I was able to get the systolic number down, exercising but then, diastolic was always above 90. Medications never worked, and i found out that most of the medications are for the systolic number, not the bottom number. . Doctors dont take the bottom number seriously. They just say, some day you will eventually need medication when the top number goes up. But the meds never worked on me. (or my father). Now I've reversed my stiff heart, I have normal blood pressure now, no meds, just diet diet and exercise.

@@Breezeyogi Watch the end of this video again. This what I did . Make sure you are eating right, especially adding salads and eating your water like he said. Eventually I had to cut out caffeinated coffee and can only tolerate one green tea a day, and I drink water, at least 1/2 my body weight in oz. I also make sure I get enough potassium at least 3500 mg a day, and use Himalayan pink salt. Getting your electrolyte balance is key. I get 450 mg of magnesium every day.
You have to make sure you control your blood sugar too. Check it and make sure it comes down with normal ranges after you eat or two hours after you eat. I get most of my calories between 11:00am and 5:00am and also don’t eat carbs outside these windows. I eat very good sources of protein, organic when I can, and plenty of veggies, and and a lot of berries, grapefruit, and eat my fruit as opposed to to drinking fruit juice. Exercise and put on muscle, I do cardio, love Zumba, yoga and Pilates is my weight bearing exercise and I’m going to add weights. Yoga is very important because the breathing techniques can lower you diastolic number and for me, I had to learn to really calm my nervous system. A huge part of my blood pressure coming down were my children growing up and leaving the house, that may have been a huge part too. I always had high blood pressure growing up and my environment probably contributed to it too. You have to stay away from processed foods.

I cannot begin to tell you how much I appreciate what you just brought to the table in this video.!
I've been in the medical field for 39 years and totally believe that nutrition is the only way to prevent disease into hopefully eradicate it - to see that you were pro-cold press juicing & intermediate fasting it just blew me away I almost fell off my chair! I never thought I'd see a doctor say something as intelligent as what you brought to the table, I'm with you 110%! I've done these myself and I'm not on any medication right now, but I do need to get back to a juicing/cold press lifestyle. I'm not working for nursing agencies anymore and being on the road is no longer my lifestyle and it was very hard to take care of my health under those circumstances. Semi-retired from the medical field and no longer on the road, it's time to roll up my sleeves and dust off my juicer!

@looweegee252 Big pharma does not want anyone to be cured permanently (bitter truth). Intermittent Fasting and Heart Health - recent study states that fasting causes heart health problems(a big lie), that is another evidence how this system works and manipulates common people. Another leading cardiologist BM Hegde explains in his book "What Doctors Don't Get to Study in Medical School"(available on amazon) how little time is spent on nutrition awareness during several years of medical degree. If a bad diet is causing health issues, doctors should advise on proper diet changes to REVERSE THE CONDITION instead of just putting patients on statins. A very few doctors do that, majority does not. We have lost many wonderful people very early in life.. because they chose conventional treament to cure them like Steve Jobs. Wish Steve had an opportunity to meet with Dr.Baxter very early before his pancreatitis diagnosis. Dr. Baxter Montogomery is a blessing to the world and to the Medicine Industry.

Thanks for the detailed info. My wife has had surgery for removal of Calcium Oxalate stones. She has worked very hard to decrease the level of oxalate consumption from vegetable sources and add calcium rich foods to bind with oxalates and has had great success in keeping further stones from growing/forming. I have found two things to significantly reduce my blood pressure. When I drop all of my carbohydrate sources (except salad, cellulose...) then my BP levels drop from ~125/75 to 160/68 and do not rise in a relaxed state unless I start eating carbs again. Another way to drop BP is long duration zone 2 exercise, say 2-3 hours. That lasts for about two days. What is true for the heart and kidneys is true for the eyes also. I am keeping my daily average glucose at ~90 mg/dL because I find that my right eye vision blurs at higher levels. CGMs are great for monitoring this metric. No more chocolate for a while. Also the eyes need a spectrum of colorful vegetables for health.

It's also VERY important to add vitamin K2 MK7 when you are taking calcium because this vitamin's direct job is to direct calcium to your bones and not have it build up or calcify in your arterial walls! The amount required for proper efficiency to transport calcium effectively is 200mcg of vitamin K2 MK7 per/day.

This clip in my humble opinion was worth commenting on as it is very well explained and I appreciate Dr. Montgomery for sharing this.

i have diastolic dysfunction and through my own research i coincidentally do or did all of the approach you mentioned in this video but the difference is more nuts and peanuts, low carb and i added moderate exercise trying to get to a 60-80% target heart rate it was really difficult at first and maybe even dangerous to exercise but i took it easy and increased my exercise over weeks and months, my last echocardiogram was last year stage 2 DD. now i still haven't had a follow up of my echo so not sure yet but i can tell you i have significantly improved since last year when a light jog i would feel like passing out couldn't feel my chest and head but now i can run faster and longer than i can 10 years ago. i also have stopped taking beta blockers and decreased my blood pressure medicine an ARB to 1/4 the original dose since then about 3 months ago.

Oh my gosh, thanks God that found your channel. I think this is what's happening to my heart.
Even when on a seated position, I am relaxed sometimes it would go very fast 160+ beats
I would just drink himalayan pink salt to calm it.
But it contracts so strong like it is doing much effort and my stomach is also like there is a heartbeat...

Google or the universe or somebody must've known I needed this video. You just popped up! I was recently diagnosed with stage 3 CKD (55). I'm diabetic with hypertension. Both very well controlled. After watching this I think my meds, which cause me to urinate excess sugar are dehydrating me aggravating this problem. My dr has lowered 1 of my BP meds because I'm doing so well but my kidney numbers aren't so hot. Your advice to eat hydrating foods is something I want to try and see if that helps. Thank you.

    Hi Dr Montgomery,
Thank you for doing what you do. In this day and age, having doctors who truly care about their patients' physical, emotional and diet wellbeing and having all the relevant knowledge, experiences and the infrastructure to support the patients' overall healing and recovery is quite rare. Will you be considering to bring your knowledge, experiences and infrastructure to Asia, for e.g Singapore ?
    Thank you.

@@MontgomeryHeartWellness Hi Dr Montgomery, Thank you for your kind response. Does a kind encouragement and curosity question be considered an invitation ? In your definition, What does an invitation entail? I am just a simple unemployed old lady inspired by your work.
Singapore is a hub for many medical institution and pharma business. But I think there may not be one that is doing what you do, for e.g, strong focus on a holistic approach on raw vegan nutrition, detox, reduction/elimination of drugs, positive thinking and wholesome lifestyle to support healing...
      Thank you for your work.
