I have an Apollo Twin Quad Core Audio Interface, what do you suggest, I do. I use the MPOW, I use an SM7B Shure microphone and I use the audio Y cable with Sony's studio headphones. I get game audio, my mic works fine when communicating with my computer and my audio interface but I get no audio signal of my Shure SM7B into my XBOX party chat. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

For some reason this isn’t working for me. I have the same interface that you are using in the video. And I’m using the cheaper method with the splitter. I’m getting the audio through my headphones just fine but it’s as if the game isn’t picking up the mic for game chat or anything. If I turn the “direct monitor” on, on the interface, I can hear myself so I know the mic is getting power. The microphone I’m using is the condenser mic that comes with the focusrite solo studio bundle. Any tips??
I'm having the same issue with the splitter linked in the description. I think it's an issue with the splitter and it just doesn't work, I'm just going to return it and find a better splitter.
i got everything in the video (going with the rca cable and 3.5m splitter route) and theres still no audio going through the mic (im using an at2020 xlr output)
so you have your game audio go to the optical audio in on the goxlr, and you need 2 3.5 mm cables, one cable goes from the headset output to the line in on the goxlr and the second cable goes from a line-out to the mic input on the headset splitter but if you are on PS4 you don't have to use the headset splitter you can get a USB audio card
The interface is connected to my xbox one using the USB to power up the Interface. Is it possible to just do it like that instead of using the computer to power up the interface?

But maybe it working for me cause I do have it plugged into a power supply meaning it connects my speakers, my monitor, tv, and it protects the equipment from not frying. I also think it's why my interface is turning on through my xbox one by giving it that extra juice. But I might be wrong, this is why I asked if I have to plug it into the computer because it clearly turn on when I plug it through my xbox one lol. Thanks for replying though

no that won't work you need the USB to power the mic and the controller won't have enough power for that, do you have a computer with Windows 10 on it if you do you can plug the USB into the computer and just use the Xbox app for party chat
What if you bought a small mixer compatible with the PS4, plugged the line-out from the Scarlett to the mixer's XLR mic-in (1/4" to XLR cable), and then finally the mixer to the PS4 using USB?
Sony and Microsoft won’t let you use USB microphone unless it’s their products or something they approved there’s no interfaces available you have to have a mixer it’s stupid I come from pc and the interface I have is high quality and I have an audio technical mic and DT770 pros and now I gotta go get more stuff to use it with console
It depends on what interface you have so you need to see what is your output cable type and use that same type and then it goes to 3.5 mm male, if you are using your headset plugged into the interface you will not be able to hear your game because your game audio is not going into the interface

Old video but maybe you'll see this; wondering what the ground loop thingy does, I have all the things in the video and condenser mic audio seems pretty punchy on voice messages. Will the isolator fix the punchiness or do I have a separate issue altogether?
It depends, the ground loop isolator is just to move buzzing noise from the audio because if there is two audio devices connected with a single cable and both devices have their own source of power sometimes it can create a ground which is two ground power from each device connecting and then makes a buzzing noise and the ground isolated this fixes it, if you don't have any buzzing noise in your audio and you should be good, so you have punchiness this in your audio is that like it's too loud like some of your words pop or too loud? or do you have patchiness which is like it goes in and out of audio?
It seems like this may work for what I want to do? I want to be able to have my pc, Xbox one, and phone all in one headset. I also want to be able to talk in game chat with my headset, and be able to adjust my game volume, game chat volume, pc volume, and phone volume, all individually. So if someone is talking really loud in game chat for example, I can turn them down. Does anyone think this will do the trick?

Did this improve audio quality? I’m thinking of doing this to improve mic quality on stream without PC. But not sure if it’ll actually sound better since it’s still to 3.5mm at the end. Really great video!

its literally made for pc, you don't have to do this just plug it up and it should work unless u have a broken focusrite

Sorry for the late response, I've been looking into it, there is a way to connect it to your Xbox but I don't have one so I don't know the details, but this guy was able to connect it to his Xbox th-cam.com/video/tQwk60PW0Ig/w-d-xo.html

If I use a 1/4 inch to aux adapter so i can use my akg702 headset will it work provided i plus it into the headphone jack on the splitter
