What charming items you have found thrifting. The brocantes in France look like treasure troves of marvelous things to bring home. We don't find anything like what they have in France. Thank you for taking us with you! Hopefully, one day, I can make my dream of visiting France come true.

I love the copper utensils, the smaller religious statues, and the small metallic basket which is used for eggs and/or herbs. Very nice finds. I am inspired to visit the thrift shops in France when we move to an apartment located in the outskirts of Paris. :)

Love the shabby chic salt holder you found for your friend, but everything you picked up would be what I would have picked up and some. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Jessica, The goat plate looks like it may have had a lid and it was a butter dish. Great piece. You can use it for so many things . I know you will display or use it creatively 😊 Lovely haul. The floor is so beautiful 😍

I can tell you a little bit about the square Madonna/Jesus/St. John picture you bought. I have a larger 24" round one so I researched it. Here is what I found out: The Madonna della Seggiola or The Madonna della Sedia (28" in diameter (71 cm)) is an oil on panel Madonna painting by the High Italian Renaissance artist Raphael, executed c. 1513-1514, and housed at the Palazzo Pitti Collection in Florence, Italy. Although there is documentation on its arrival to its current location, Palazzo Pitti, it is still unknown who commissioned the painting; however, it has been in the Medici family since the 16th century. It depicts Mary embracing the Christ child while sitting in a chair as the young John the Baptist devoutly watches. The Madonna della Sedia is one of the single most important of Raphael's Madonnas. The painting also showcases Raphael's use of the tondo form and his naturalistic approach to depicting the Madonna.

She disclosed in the beginning of the video that everything did not have a tag or price on it and if it does she would let us know.

Yes, that’s right! Not everything has a price tag, and like 🐞 ladybugcarrie explained I did disclose that in the beginning of the video. Sometimes at the thrift stores, and even brocantes in France they don’t always have things marked. You just take it up to the counter and they will give you a price.
