Not a clone but not original. I will admit I have a Chinese clone of a BB58 in Titanium (IXDAO) and the specs are ridiculous for the price (around $250) 39mm, sapphire crystal, ceramic bezel, screw links, 200m... Not original either but way cheaper than these. Lets be honest, the whole Marai line is like the Tudor without the snowflake hands
Interesting review. The face of the watch remains just too derivative and lacking excitement for me, but I think this is where fans of well-established favourites would disagree and this could genuinely make a high quality alternative. I'm certainly in the camp that find that logic dictates a stiffer bezel makes more sense than one that's easy to move. Practically, it's not the fidget spinner, so you want it firmly set. However, it must remain possible to set it with thumb and index finger action. The bracelet aesthetic to me also really exudes that built quality. It looks tight, yet gently curved. Nice enough that it would have impressed with a butterfly, but for this genre of watch the present clasp is much more appropriate. Looks like the back story and intentions of the brand are very genuine, so it is certainly worth looking out for future releases from the brand.
Does it really cost as much as a Christopher Ward C60 Trident Pro ? Or a Squale 1521 ? Or a Doxa Sub 200 ? I could go on forever, it just doesn’t make any sense.
I own the maraí 401. They're a fantastic watch, the build quality and materials are excellent, backed by an outstanding customer service and lifetime warranty. I own a few watches tag being one, and I find this watch far better.
Nicely done, but however well founded and organised the company a lifetime warranty from such as young company is not as valuable as say the five year warranty from Citizen, for example. It would be better too if it didn't look like a Tudor.
1200€ for a selita powered microbrand. Yeah … you can get other european microbrands with the same movement like Tuseno from Sweden for 700€. If we consider that the movement alone costs 200€ then there is mo reason thos watch should go for more than 600

Lets be honest. Belfasts legacy for building things has always been a bit of a disaster. Delorian and titanic being great examples. Too dear for what it is. How much of this watch is actually made in belfast. Just like your swiss made watch.
I am from Belfast. This company are just a joke.. These are San Martin watches that have been fine tuned in Belfast. They are bought in Whiye Faced with a cheap Swiss movement and then branded with all the hype. A total rip off. You have been warned.
