They don't care. As long as Tyga puts up some money up-front, then they repossess the cars later and re-sell them. In all likelihood they sold to Tyga at an inflated price to begin with. Say some car retails for 100k, they say to Tyga my man this is a 120k car but you can drive it today if you give me 40G in cash today. We just set up a car loan for the other 80k. A month later Tyga misses payment, they take the car away and sell it again for 70k, which isn't difficult for a super car with only 300 miles on it. So for a bit extra hustle they managed to sell a car for 110k instead of 100.

Unless you become a living legend (spoiler: you won't) you only have about 5 years at most where you're at your peak earning potential, but they develop spending habits that assume the money will never dry up. It's like if you landed a temp job paying $300K a year, used that money on a mortgage for a mansion, and as soon as the job ends you're back to making $30K. The bank doesn't care that you're down 90% of your income.

My mother gave me a piece of advice that has always stuck with me. "Pay your bills first and anything left over is yours to keep". I'm still poor but I dont owe the Tax man a million dollars.
My parents both come from middle-income families, but have extended family members that were wealthy. They're really learned a lot from those family members, that money is fleeting. My Dad has a very successful career, we live very comfortably, but never over the top, even though we can afford it.
They don't; they just send you back to prison so a private company can pay you 50c an hour to work for them (Larry Lawson explains it). It's an industry designed to gain cheap labour. Same thing happens to Dad's who come out and are trying to get a job to pay child support. Can't get a job due to criminal record therefore can't pay child support, back to prison they go.
To be fair, they usually issue you with payment plans depending on your financial situation. They probably weren’t demanding that money be paid in full immediately after he left prison.
It's emotional insecurity/anxiety. They made a lot of money, and are too concerned about their self image. They felt pressured to buy fancy homes/cars, as they felt the pressure to look good and stay relevant.

It's interesting how different their scenarios and mindsets are. It ranges from narcissism-fueled extravagance, to habitual bad choices, naïvety, and simple misfortune. In particular, I like how down-to-earth and honest T-Pain was about his issues, and I respect 50 Cent's drive for coming back from what would have sunk a lot of other people in his position.

What surprises me the most is being able to buy a $2 million dollar mansion that looks that good and big, on that much land in 2002. You can barely get an all-brick two story house for less than $750k today. Really puts inflation into perspective and the impending downfall of our civilization
The saddest part is when your money goes you find out who your real friends are. One of my best friends in high school had a very generous father. He'd take not only his son's friends out and about (even to Europe for 2 weeks with an 'allowance' to spend), but also their girlfriends or just a friend of theirs. His dad hired some real estate guys that lied about their credentials and they did some shady things. Being his dad was the one legally responsible he ended up in jail and later died due to them thinking his diabetes was just a game. All those friends were really well-off to begin with told stories that his dad killed someone or worse. I wasn't a real close friend of his at the time, but we started hanging out during the mess. I asked my parents if he could live with us to finish off high school and they agreed. We only had room enough for a sleeping bag/air mattress in my brother and I's room as my mom and dad were both hospitalized the previous year and had to downsize (due to my dad's job firing all the senior staff to replace with those making fractions of the salaries since those that built the organization had made it sort of turn key). My friend graduated and ended up in Law Enforcement of all things focusing on going after gangs and organized crimes.

The saddest part is when your money goes you find out who your real friends are. One of my best friends in high school had a very generous father. He'd take not only his son's friends out and about (even to Europe for 2 weeks with an 'allowance' to spend), but also their girlfriends or just a friend of theirs.
His dad hired some real estate guys that lied about their credentials and they did some shady things. Being his dad was the one legally responsible he ended up in jail and later died due to them thinking his diabetes was just a game. All those friends were really well-off to begin with told stories that his dad killed someone or worse. I wasn't a real close friend of his at the time, but we started hanging out during the mess. I asked my parents if he could live with us to finish off high school and they agreed. We only had room enough for a sleeping bag/air mattress in my brother and I's room as my mom and dad were both hospitalized the previous year and had to downsize (due to my dad's job firing all the senior staff to replace with those making fractions of the salaries since those that built the organization had made it sort of turn key).
My friend graduated and ended up in Law Enforcement of all things focusing on going after gangs and organized crimes.

50 was the only smart one investment wise but investments are like gambling but the uttas were just plain stupid, u can buy a modest nice house w/acres and not need a full time staff,that is laziness and dumb to the fullest extent if anything and u can't/don't have time to upkeep your properties just hire any random company to clean/maintain it once a month or 3 months, imma big car guy but don't necessarily like $2-5 million exotics/supercars I like musclecars/import tuners/sport motos and choppers and work on them as well...Bugatti's are nice and all but only 17 mechanics in the world are qualified to work on them!!!maintenance on those is insane!!!a tune up and oil change will run u over $50,000 no bullshit and those engines are delicate so u miss an oil change the value of it already dropped!!!even if I had enough to maintain a Bugatti I still say no thanks!!!lol
