    Great to see a DIY install, especially when you're prepared to say, "I don't know how to do this bit" we've all been there. Love the wood table pull out from the fridge slide! Looking forward to seeing more progress on the Y62

      Thanks mate. Yeah I am no expert, trial and error gets you there in the end. The setup has been in a while now and it has been awesome. Loving the huge drawer. And table has been so handy aswell.

    There is a huge grey area on rear seat removal and drawer instal. Here in WA we had TJM take our rear seats out and instal a 2 drawer set up the full width with infills etc on our 200 series. We were then approached by a fellow camper on a site and asked if we had re-registered it as a 5 seater as he did the same and actually ended up selling his because of the regs in his state. We contacted the Dept. Transport and they confirmed we did indeed have to have it inspected and re-registered as a 5 seater, even if it was only a temporary action, as we also heard that if you say you are putting the seats back in then it’s ok and classed as temporary. Again, this is WA. There also maybe insurance issues, depending on who you are insured with. Non of this was actually mentioned by TJM when we ordered our set up.

      Yeah have heard so many different stories. I have heard rejection of road worthy certificates, and also heard no problems with road worthy certificates. It sounds like it depends on who you get on the day as to whether you get a tick or a cross.

    Awesome install mate and awesome setup! Might have to look into it! I might have missed it but what was damage on a setup like that?

    • @OutdoorsCBR
      @OutdoorsCBR  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah it is worth it. I have bettled with cheap DIY set ups in my Colorado, but this so worth the $. I think they have pricing on the Drawer Company website for the standard setups. But a custom build like this one is about 2k +

    That’s a sexy car…are you keeping the Colorado for the tracks?

      Yes the Colorado is staying. Will keep it for the bush.

    Do you have to get the car engineered because you removed the third row of seats ?

    • @OutdoorsCBR
      @OutdoorsCBR  ปีที่แล้ว

      I didn't. Seatbelts are still in it. Have heard that rumour, not sure if it need to happen or not.
