Beautiful house. Who will be maintaining it when your parents get old? It is unlikely that you will ever settle back in Kerala. This is from my experience living in Canada for the last 49 years. Children won't be able to adjust to Kerala life. Even though you have not left Kerala, Kerala has left you. Instead of buying a place in Kerala we bought a water front cottage in Canada. This we found to be more practical. We could just in there when ever we feel like. Just a 3 hour drive. Also this gives us a break from our professional life in the city.

The home is large. I liked the white walls and the floors which are rare among South Asians who mostly prefer dark colors for walls, floors, kitchen, bathrooms, etc. For example, look at the color of dark sofa, bedcover, etc. Even though the home is large, the furniture looked cheap and not modern or contemporary to conform to the white paint and floors of the home. This is also common among the South Asians. Many Malayalees' homes in the U.S. are in this category. Many Malayhalees, who work and live in Western countries, build homes in Kerala, but they seldom live there. Even if they visit Kerala, they hardly stay there for three weeks, but prefer to live in their small or medium homes abroad. I noticed that those said they would stay permanently or at least six months in Kerala after retirement, none of them stay in Kerala.
Good house. Maintained very well. Tourist can stay well. Every body will like. Climate is good there. Good income from rent too. Proper maintenance of home and garden, other plants etc is a difficult job.
