Mr. Hubbard. My hats off to you sir. First of all. Great Job on the album. Second. Your a class act, on and off the stage. Really cool of you to reply to your fans also. Your down to Earth persona I really respect. Keep it up brotha...and please keep the music coming. Loose, Wild, and Loud.
    Thank You.

Just when I thought, there would never be a song as good as Ray's " Down Home Country Blues." this comes out: I am just amazed ! Ray, the next time you are at the Tower Theater, in OKC, I want to get up on stage and sing " Down Home Country Blues," with you, lol.

My favorite release from the new album so far. Well done Ray. ( edit ) Having listened to this for a solid day, it’s not only my favorite song off of the new album, it’s absolutely at the top of my list of all time favorite songs.

Instead of editing again I will just comment. My preorder of Co-Starring showed up today with Mr. Hubbard’s autograph included so it won’t be played, just preserved. I feel less guilty for listening to the album for free on here since I bought the CD. It’s a great album from start to finish. Looking forward to seeing Ray live next month in Floyd Virginia.

@@justintesterman3974 So how was it - did it even occur amid the Panicdemic? I saw him at a Willie Nelson 4th of July festival in Houston - must have been in '07 since he played "Snake Farm" - he was the best act in a great lineup.

@@VoluntaristJAM The show was called off due to the pandemic. It’s a bummer but I totally understand. I just hope he travels back east close enough someday for me to catch another show.

@Ray Wylie Hubbard🎶 , I’m honored to just get a personal reply from you. I would be more than honored for you to share your personal information with me. I caught you, Lucas and Kyle at the Epperly Mill in Floyd Virginia on May 23rd. It was truly a great show. I have saw you both times I have went to a concert so you are both the best and the second best live performer that I have saw. Thank you Mr. Hubbard for being willing to do the small shows. That’s what made it possible for me to see you.

Masterpiece... lyrics are so relevant to 2020, and the music is shit-hot! At times it reminds me of Crazy Horse.

Yes exactly! At first I wondered if it was Neil Young he was "co-starring" with.

I stood in disbelief wonderin' when the madness is gonna be done
The gravest tears had come up on me in consequence, Route 91
Then I was in a studio, once again, I broke down and cried
A voice come on my headphones, told me Tom Petty died
    [Chorus]
And all the rock gods are dead or dying
Seems the whole world is broken and crying
It is more than prayers we're needing
We're all on a cross, alone and bleeding
And hey, engineer, don't play it back
This train we're on's comin' off the tracks
    [Verse 2]
Ain't nobody left to sing the blues the way they supposed to be sung
Everybody's talkin', nobody's listenin', it's like we're just speakin' in tongues
There's a beauty that we witness when standin' in a sacred place
Yet lookin' at the disarray down here, you'd think maybe God's run out of grace
    [Chorus]
And all the rock gods are dead or dying
Seems the whole world is broken and crying
It is more than prayers we're needing
We're all on a cross, alone and bleeding
And hey, engineer, don't play it back
This train we're on's comin' off the tracks
    [Verse 3]
We were as beautiful as angels, one was born with virtue and trust
Then our innocence was lost, burned off or turned to rust
But we're betrayed by black when shadows risin' in the darkness at dusk
Steering us away from the light, little broken toys in the dust
    [Chorus]
And all the rock gods are dead or dying
Seems the whole world is broken and crying
It is more than prayers we're needing
We're all on a cross, alone and bleeding
And hey, engineer, don't play it back
This train we're on's comin' off the tracks
