I think Mimikyu and Greninja both deserve their own UPCs. They have huge followings.
I've had cards that looked and felt like the had a weird "waxy" finish on them. The card stock themselves seemed normal and weren't curved or anything.
Bruh, for 15 packs, that was kinda rough. It's a bit disappointing that the metal cards had zero protection, too. If they're selling this for $100 and using those cards as a selling point, they should at least package them with care.
They should really make a Lugia upc. The thing about lugia is that the box will probably be very expensive but they will most likely sell out very fast. Anyways, keep up the good work!

The cards may have been printed from a different region. It's not unusual since they do reprints from different printers from time to time. Happens with Magic often.
Did you ever find out if the card were fake or not? As someone else mentioned, "You said there was no black when you ripped it, but real Pokémon cards DO have the black inner layer when you rip them."
Yeah all the cards were still real! The manufacturer who made the astral radiance packs which made its way to many other different products all had the same issue of fake feelings etc because they slipped a small part in the production process. So it was just a major quality control issue across the board

I thought you wanted the black, no black means fake unless they changed it?A quick way to test if your Pokémon card is real or fake is to take a close look at the edge of it. Real Pokémon cards have a very thin sheet of black between the cardboard. It's very thin, but up close it is easy to see the darkness between the two thin halves of the card. Fake cards do not have this.
Great video as always man, I definitely think they need a Gengar UPC, a Sorlax UPC and an Alakazam UPC. I would buy all of those so fast lol. I am a pretty basic iced coffee drinker, I just add the coffee and the international delight french vanilla coffee creamer. Keep up the phenomenal work man.

They could do some really cool UPCs that are based around some of the trios like the legendary dogs, or the lake trio. It'd be really cool to see some love to some of the more underated legendaries.

One of the charizard UPCs I opened from walmart the cards felt like what you were talking about. It might have just been astral radiance as well. Hopefully they aren't changing to this new card stock and printing.
My Charizard UPC packs were exactly the same…felt too glossy and were curved. Wonder if they switched the stock for all the filler cards then V’s or better use a more ‘premium’ stock?

FYI astral radiance has a card difference with thickness and finish and brilliant stars packs have bowed cards. Must have been a major printing issue for the reprints for the premium collections. My Charizard UPC had these same problems but the cards are real
All my cards from the charizard upc where curled straight from pack. Also lots of the code cards where backwards and the lost origins packs had no code cards at all. They where real as I got the upc from target but the quality of the packs where really bad.
The card he tore didn't have a grey line in the middle, which is an indicator of fake cards. Super wierd.
I opened Arceus UPC and pulled nothing hits wise. And my arceus V metal card has a fair sized paint chip in the bottom left corner. I do think though that these UPCs would be a great investment opportunity for years ahead, I think a Rayqauza UPC would be sick, or a dragonite one.

I think they should make a UPC of some starter or legendary trios and duos. It would be nice to see multiple recognizable pokemon groups represent as one UPC. They could make a UPC of the Paldean starters, the og Regi Trio, pika clones, etc.

Love your subtle use of camera edits and sound effects, not too sporadic like newer generations of editors but still quick paced.
Also, Gyarados UPC could have the potential to have EPIC artwork, even the shiny version could be an alternative set!

I ordered something from Pokemon Centre and some of the cards feel so fake to me.

about the texture of the cards, i had the same situation when i opened the eevee tins, the packs inside all had the feel, they are just lower quality prints, it wasnt even specific to a certain set, it was all the packs in those tins.

I'm getting back into Pokemon so I am unaware of some of the product that has come out. With all that said, I think a Gengar UPC would be really cool if and only if Pokemon focuses on all ghost pokemon. You know sort of like Dark Phantasma kind of look but darker. I haven't fully developed the thought yet but I'm all for a Gengar UPC.

I just opened one of these boxes. I don’t open enough to know if they feel fake or not. But the cards in my box definitely had a curve to them and had some other small defects.

I would like to see an Eevee Evolutions UPC. Eevee is one of my favorite and all the evolutions are amazing. I've opened one Charizard UPC and was happy with my pulls. I've been considering getting the Arceus UPC from GameStop. Your video is the first unboxing of the Arceus UPC I've seen. Good video.

Just like it sounds, the rip test involves ripping a card in half. Real Pokémon cards are made of two thin pieces of cardboard glued together, with a black layer in between. By ripping the card, you can reveal this layer-if there is no layer, the card is fake.

there is a particular printing company that pokemon uses that has been putting out these glossy type of cards. Pokemon uses multiple different printing companies and i’ve seen this is quite a few new packs
