Yes, especially the First Quartet sounds like it's just four different pieces casually assembled together. :D

The string sound quality is so much more mature, fewer predictable ideas, overworked tedious tremolos or cautious academic canons

This string quartetts are relative easy ...the dificult is the performance and the sound....
