I pulled a Cosmo Queen back in the day. I would force my little sister to duel me and she would get upset when I would win. I had a Kaiba ego and always made up rules to win. One day she got upset and ripped my Cosmo Queen in half. I chased her around the house and she fell down the stairs and broke her wrist. We were both around 8 years old. Great memories.
Reminds me of me and my little brother. I would force him to duel me and I had Starter Deck Yugi, Starter Deck Kaiba and Starter Deck Joey. One day he got really angry after I beat him and he grabbed card destruction and hitotsu me giant and bent them really badly. I fought against him because he did that. My cards ended up getting messed up after getting washed up in laundry machine because my uncle had the cards in his pocket
Glad to see these get opened! I don't remember them because I was 2 years old when they came out 😂 Congrats on the pull, that was super cool

Oh I actually remember having some of these cards as a really young kid since I watched GX but never got into the game itself since we didn't have much money, but I do remember the likes of Trakodon, Flame Viper, Kaiser Dragon, Stone Dragon, and Aqua Dragon being a part of them. Very unique opening.
...hold a freaking minute! Seeing the white horned dragon triggered a fuzzy memory but I wasn't sure but then seeing the flame wingman box definitely confirms that I got at least one of these packs! Thanks for jogging my memory and letting me reminisce.

I still have the yami yugi magic box, along with a few McDonalds promotional cards, I’m still looking to obtain all the other toys and cards, never expected to see the cards warped inside the packs!

I have never opened any of these as a kid. They weren't available in my country, so I wasn't even aware of these until I saw YugiHunter's video.

I remember getting like 3 happy meals every tuesday when they were 1.99 trying to get all the holos from this set back in the day. Mission was not accomplished bc i had no idea there were no holos in the second set lol

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm 99% sure the Electrum-K is an upper deck redemption card for the Duel King cards, similar to the silver stamp UDE Flame Wingman, Mudballman, Dreadmaster, and White Horned Dragon. You cannot pull the K-variant in Mcdonalds pack 2.

Oh wow, I remember these. One memory I have is finding the McD's Burstinitrix in my elementary school's parking lot. It had been ran over by a car, so the condition was terrible, but I still have that card. Awesome nostalgic opening! *Also, the only one of these I got was the shining flare wingman box haha! Wish I had gotten more back then

I still remember the 3 cards I pulled from my GX Happy Meal from back at a McDonalds at our local mall. I pulled Clayman, Dungeon Worm, and Mist Body. How I remember this I do not know, but it was a happy memory.
I am so envious that you get to have these in your Country. We didn't have this opportunity in Mcdonald's back in the day. Seeing as some of these are YGO GX, you already had me the first minute.
Back when McDonalds gave decent toys in their happy meals. Would love if they did a new McDonalds pack. Will never happen, but opium be addictive. Cosmo Queen was the card I pulled as kid, loved it.

I did get one of these back in the day! I got the Zane toy with Electrum, Dungeon Worm and Aqua Dragon, and still own them to this day. Mine is not a misprint sadly, this is my first time hearing of it!

I prefer the printing on the older cards compared to the newer ones you get today. They're just much more deeper back then.

Riding on the Blue-Eyes pull there is no doubt you get the error card. I never opened any of these myself. MP1 on the other hand, very nostalgic.
Fun memory about those Mist Body cards - I literally found one of those in the gutter on the road as a kid. It was understandably in trashed condition but it was still at least card-shaped and I actually put it in my deck...it turns any monster into Spirit Reaper, what's not to like? :)

These are pretty cool, still like McDonald’s pack 1! I would roam through the house collecting coins from under beds next to the laundry machine while walking to school anything to get enough money to buy a happy meal.

Hope you get the K Electrum! I remember the McDonald's promos when I was younger but it wasn't this one. It was the one with the Millennium Shield in it. I remember my friend had one with a huge bend right across the middle. I wonder if he still has it somewhere.

I didn’t get any of the McDonald’s pack 2 but I ate so many happy meals collecting the original ones. I think my McDonald’s used to just sell the toys so my mom bought me packs to.
Never had any of these but wish they would do a retrain or a similar product, might get some new players into the game
I had the yami yugi magic box as a kid (if you rotated it with cards inside the cards would "disappear") and kept a revival jam, creased to shit buster blader, counterfeit (at the time I didnt know they were fake but the back had no text I just thought they were supposed to look more like the show) exodia pieces and a raigeki with a hole in the middle of it in it and it was my most prized possession until randomly vanishing one day never to be seen again 🥲maybe it really was magic.
Definitely recognize some of these from Duelist of the Roses!

I remember when these came out, I was in 5th grade and was soo obsessed buying these especially when I wanted Elemental HERO Mudd Ball, Electrum , and White Knight Dragon 🐉
I remember this promotion well! Managed to get 4-5 packs during the promotion myself when i was 7-8 and then my aunt gave me a bunch after bc my cousin was too young to have cards. Think I had all but burstinatrix and gokibore for the set cards, and for the toys i had 2 doom lord, 2 winged kuriboh, and the flare wingman deck box. Good times!
I remember getting multiple happy meals for the packs. Everyone wanted the white horned dragon and I did pull 1. I had no idea that Electrum had an error, wish I could go back and get more, they were I think $2 each toy.
I don't think they got to México, but I would love to get the complete set now. I love old YGO promos.

I was really hoping you'd pull the misprint Elemental Hero Electrum. I always thought that guy was cool. He requires a whopping FOUR Elemental Heroes for his summon, and in spite of his name, he does not require Elemental Hero Sparkman. I was kinda surprised when I read his required fusion materials.
Pulling the error card would be insane, 2024 is already off to a hot start. Do it!
Aqua Dragon was the GOAT in Duelist of the Rose's. You had a chance to get him when you first start the game and if you did you got a heavy hitter that could change the elemental attribute of the tile on which he was standing. He carried me through the game.
