Good to see things getting back to normal after covid also to see the huge support given to the Whit walks used to be huge when I lived in UK in the 40s 50s all over North west..
Hello Michael. There were dark days when I ever wondered if it would happen again, but thanks to those local stalwarts/traditionalists here we are! I have to say the weather, as always, makes a big difference and it was nigh on perfect all day bringing everybody out both morning and evening. Thanks for watching and appreciate your comment.
Hello John, the question marks were because I didn't know the name of the first band on the stage, I just remembered them being from overseas. Managed to put that right after seeing the full result sheet this evening. I did realise it was Slaidburn having played the bass part from the early 70's until retirement five years ago, so we'd both probably be millionaires!! lol Thanks for watching btw.
MG Oberkirch - Ravanello on the Road and Jubilaeus on the Stand (new and unkwnown but composed by one of our members btw) Thank you for sharing, we had much fun :-)
Hello and thanks so much for the information and how lucky to have a composer in the band! I thought the band sounded really good and looked really smart, especially with the caps on, something not seen often these days. I don't think you could not have fun with the perfect conditions, it's not as much fun though when it's cold and wet!!! I'll have a little more of the band up soon from the morning in Uppermill . I'll let you know when it's posted.
Hello. Yes, I had realised, I'd got questionmarks because I couldn't remember who played first on the stand, but just rectified that. Thanks for watching.

The first March is ''Slaidburn'' by Rimmer - I thought everyone knew that one! If I had a Pound for every time I`ve played it I`d be quite well off!!!
