Vaal Streams is indeed the best and most value Vaal River venue for your break-away - any time of the year! Our versatile resort is nestled in a beautiful off-road and secluded valley on the Vaal River, just a few kilometers below the Vaal Dam on the Free State side between Deneysville and Vereeniging (off R716) at Veekraal Smallholdings - about an hour drive from Johannesburg.
Vaal Streams offers excellent Fly-fishing recreation for the avid angler. The Vaal River is habitat to South Africa’s scarce indigenous Largemouth Yellowfish and Smallmouth Yellowfish, as well as more common species including Mudfish, Moggel, Barbel and Carp. We are not on boating water but the Vaal River has some of the best River Rafting conditions with calm waters suitable for beginners as well as exciting rapids for more experienced rafters.

Being in close proximity to the Vaal Dam and other nearby tourist attractions, golf courses, etc. our resort is the ideal springboard to visit places of interest in the Vaal Triangle. Vaal Streams is also a competitively priced and ideal venue for corporate get-aways, conferences, team building, functions, weddings, family gatherings, bachelor & bachelorette parties, birthday parties, clubs etc. We host a range of team-building activities and events by special arrangement.
