Haha, not a fan of the eating, so I surfed during the video, and just listened to the audio. Enjoyed the chatter though. Your IG is also refreshing because I seldom see street from HI.
This is great. Okay, the eating breakfast was stressful to watch. The tension was palpable. Would he finish it, why hasn’t he finished, why is he eating food that should be hot that’s clearly stone cold? 😉 We’re all in photography for the same reasons Tim. Creativity and escapism. We need it. Just writing about that in my blog, which is a thing I have to do just as you have to create content.
Why not hammer down and document your hometown as much as possible and show that process here. There must be so much unseen that the content is endless. There isn't one photography book specifically on Santa Monica (where I live) in street/doc style. Surprising considering the history here. Be the guy that does the first thing where you're at and get some views while doing it. Maybe watch GaryVee, Dan Milnor and Dante Sisofo for ideas/inspiration. Most people won't go through the trouble of thoroughly documenting a place because it's hard and takes a lot of time. So it's a sure way to stand out. Just my thoughts anyways.
That’s surprising for a Santa Monica with its long history and art community. Yes hawaii has lots of potential it’s part of the reason why initially 15 years ago street photography excited me more because no one has done street here. 😃 thanks for watching.
@@WORDONTHESTREETphoto I shot downtown Honolulu almost every weekend for about 3 years, although I only shot for fun, and never got published. I am/was username Pareidolic on Flickr.

I'm down for this style of video but please - and this is definitely a me problem - don't eat when doing them. The slopping makes me feel nauseous
