- Former USC guard Kevin Porter Jr.'s path to the NBA begins with honoring the memory of his father, Kevin Porter Sr., who was shot and killed in 2004. The death of his father has motivated the Seattle-born potential lottery pick to bring his elite scoring abilities to the next level, as he plans to represent his family name once his name is called at the 2019 NBA draft.
