Mel looks extremely realistic. I have a pair and they are my favorite. You can't even tell they are contacts, not even close up.
I recently bought Mel again, and they have changed. They are very yellow now. Don't like them anymore.

Very helpful video! Thank you :) Can I make 2 suggestions to make future videos even more helpful? 1) Put on both contacts of the same colored lens and take close AND farther away shots. It helps to get a true feel of the overall vibe and look 2) At the end of the video, have side by side stills of you wearing all contacts so the viewer can then compare them all together. Thanks again for all your hard work!

I wished this comparison was out a while ago. I bought the natural monthly Mel a few months ago and I was so underwhelmed you couldn’t even see them and I feel like it was a waste of money and I haven’t worn them.
The Cambuci green I do not like because i feel like it has that bug eye look. It reminds me of samba green, I bought those last year and it has that same bug eye look.
I know some people prefer a tighter pupil hole but I feel like those look more fake IMO.
I’ve been wanting to buy the yearly Mel but people say the yearly are uncomfortable and that worries me because they cost more.

I feel like the yearly natural Mel looks like the monthly natural crystal and the yearly hidrocor Mel looks like the monthly crystal. Could you please do a comparison of all crystals and Mels? 🙏 I am also curious of the difference between the monthly and yearly hidrocor crystal, the yearly looks more gray?
hello, what are the most comfortable lens brands you've used? I wanted to invest in one, but I prioritize comfort, I've had horrible experiences with some brands
Warning! ⚠️Unfortunately they totally changed the color for Buzios! It originally had tints of brown lining the iris, but now it no longer has that... The best part about buzios was that it was one of the few solotica contacts with a feather effect, that made it look less artificial (due to that lining). But now, they removed that effect. So now it's just one awkward sea green color 😢 it doesn't look good anymore! Save your money, it's not worth it anymore. I'm now on the hunt for a replacement.

Also Mel doesn’t look bright everytime I’ve brought them their completely different to her videos idk wtf kind of bullshit version they keep sending me but you can barely even see I have contacts in with Mel and their supposed to be the most noticeable!!!

Can i ask what I did wrong? Did I dry out my solotica contacts? I bought avela and tried it on and put it in my lens case but then it got hard the second time I tried it. I do use soft lens contact solution
Maybe the cap was slightly open? If you soak them I’m solution overnight they should come back to life

Hi! Do you find cambuci green pupil to be too narrow? I tried Desio equivalent and I see the lens in my peripheral vision, which is just horrific.
for me no i dont, i think the diameter is .14mm - maybe check how big desio is and compare? I thin that part is different for everyone
@@Malrie Unfortunately the parameters listed and checked at the doctors are base curve and total diameter, how much your pupil dilates depends on the lighting conditions. For me most of the day my pupils are too wide for this type of colored lens 😕
