No doubt design, engineering, technology are great. However the value and challenge of owning one here in the Philippines is yung after sales support. You are at the mercy of the dealership here that can dictate rediculous assessment and parts pricing not to mention the parts availability. Its exhilirating to own a Sub and keep it probably 5 - 7 yrs then sell it for another upgrade. But if you plan to keep it longer than that it will be a challenge vs the mainstream japanese brands.

Bought an XV (Crosstrek) in 2022. Super solid ng handling niya dahil sa SAWD niya. Kakaiba talaga. Di masyado comparable ang XV sa CX-5 kasi magkaibang segment sila. CX-30 ang same class ng XV. But if you must, mas malaki ang CX-5 so kung may pamilya ka, baka mas ok sayo to. Bachelor kasi ako kaya mas pinili ko XV kasi mas maliit at mas sporty ika nga. At may 230k discount sila last year. Kung priority mo safety and tech features at off road driving, go for Subaru. Kung mas into city driving ka, plus premium design, and 5 years free PMS go for Mazda. 😊
