Serving local churches in the late 90s and early 00s, small churches were more likely to work in and through the local association. The local trend I observe now (different community, different state) is a nearly invisible local association, and a mega church trend of consuming smaller church properties & branding them so that the megachurch acts as an association unto itself.
The view of the Holy Spirit taken out of the world, the Restrainer is scary. When given the chance through discipleship turn others away from ideologies of this age whatever it may be.
