- We went over to Joe's house and we were all packed up for a weekend of camping on the largest Lough on the island of Ireland, Lough Neagh. It's some machine, so cool and so well maintained by Joe and his father. They even changed the petrol for a diesel engine. The trip was called short with some emergency news revealed at the end of the video. I don't think a Stalwart was designed to return home as fast as it did!

Better add a portable plastic cabin on the backside with living accommodation and daily becessities...water tank..stoves...loo...etc. Enjoy...😊😊😊😊

Do I remember correctly, these vehicles didn’t have differentials
There's a video from the Chieftan addressing this. Apparently, it did have a differential, but it just didn't work very well. A 6x6 truck with the wheels evenly spaced is very unusual, and they never came up with a winning, mechanical differential for the thing. One of the field expedient fixes was to drive over railroad ties to lift each pair of wheels clear of the ground so they could unwind.
The difference between army and private ownership is availability of spares and recovery at reasonable rates!

Re the advert, there’s more to this than just being expelled for refusing to sell away all the rights to this heater but in the slim chance there isn’t then there’s no doubt in my mind that the university was in line to get a mahoosive cut of the profits that were sure to come as it was developed, I can definitely smell rotting fish here. 🧐🤑

Did you get permission somehow to use that track? I remember the controversy from 2005 or so when an American whistlerblower published the music that the CIA was using at their torture sites to break suspected Al Qaeda operatives. The CIA was really protective of their copyright back then and i remember their lawyers coming down hard on local police departments using this track for crowd control. Anyway, ballsy choice for background noise.
I did get permission, the group are personal friends of ours. I put a little bit of the sound in for people who wanted to hear it, but in general, it was just screaming constantly and it was windy. So the audio quality while out on the water was really awful. Thanks for the view though, its some machine.

If you could have heard the experience in real life, it was horrendous. So very loud that you had to scream to be heard. Its not a petrol, but a diesel engine in this particular one.

Another brilliant example in how to ruin a whole video despite having an awesome story to tell and show. The music is the worst I heard in a long time
We went through hundreds of thousands of songs and carefully chose this one, to find out that you hated it so much brings us such joy and happiness. Thanks for the view and the comment, it really helps the channel. Without your single view, we would have vanished off the platform.
