    The Bank of England released a report on the financial stability of the country. All resignations have coincided with this report. No Tory is resigning out of honour. They have all contributed to this mess. They have simply understood the ramifications and the complete mess we are facing. They were all in it together 👍

      Kindly be aware that Johnson and his corrupt Tory criminals, secured their majority with only 43% of the British Electorate. It is our current system of First-Past-The-Post Democracy, that fails Britain.
      We desperately need a system that ensures a voice for most, if not all voters. That replacement system would be Proportional Representation.
      That system would ensure that any future “Boris Johnson” would be not be able to squat in Downing Street beyond his legitimacy, as this reprobate Johnson has.

I do not think there is much to be superior about given that there is an unelected head of state, an unelected upper chamber and a joke of an electoral system electing 80 seat majorities for a party with 43% of the votes. As we saw in the interminable Brexit debates and votes, voting in the House of Commons is not electronic but consists in pushing a couple of hindred MPs in various states of sobriety through the right gate.

    I rarely agree with anything Alistair Campbell says, although I admire his straightforwardness, his analysis of Johnson is spot on. The PM is making this country a worldwide laughing stock and he simply cannot stay on as a "caretaker". It is inconceivable that a Prime Minister who has had more resignations in a week than any other British Prime Minister has in the course of an entire government be allowed to stay in power.

    • @garybarrett4881
      @garybarrett4881 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Because Boris Johnson keeps telling lies to get out of some immediate crisis but then getting caught out. He lies to everyone about everything, its like a mental health problem. Then people & politicians make decisions assuming he's telling the truth only to later discover they were deceived. People cannot make rational decisions when given false information. There is a trail of unbelievable chaos and destruction in the wake of his deceptions. The tory party have realised that the voters are disgusted this behaviour and are turning against the party because of his behaviour. Including that he lied about Brexit and there have been no benefits whatsoever but instead massive econmic damage, their lives are now worse not better like he promised. Tories now know they are facing annihilation at the next election unless they get rid of him.
