I have a mini kiwi in zone 6B. Sometimes it fruits beautifully, but spring frosts can devastate the flowers. One year the female plants had no damage, but all the flowers on the male plant froze and there was no fruiting anyway. Mini kiwis are tastier than the big ones. They are delicious, sweet.
Nice fruit. The birds got almost all but 2 fruit on my Issai vine this fall. Tiny fruits though compared to yours and no seeds at all in the two I cut open. Planted a male pollinator to hopefully help it hold more fruit and give it a size boost.

Interesting! I have only tasted the regular kiwi. It would be good if it could ripen off the vine.

Some years I don't get fruit and some years I do and do not know why.
