    I just happened across this video and definitely like the concept. It's about that time again, so something to think about. Regarding those measurements, did the math teacher that came up with them make those for a specific thickness of material, such as 3/4", or will they work for other similar thicknesses?
    Also, is that red oak you're using? A light torching on it does look good.

    I love the trees you made. I have tried making them myself without a jeg. Question Do you have plans for the jeg you made? CW

    • @epeiusgarage
      @epeiusgarage  ปีที่แล้ว

      I do not, I’m thinking of doing a quick video though. It has to be built to your trees so if I made plans it might not work. Basically you make the fixture around your tree.

    • @truthunfiltered314
      @truthunfiltered314 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@epeiusgarage Speaking of your fixture, have you considered including some support on the interior, for when you are gluing up and popping in the brads? I noticed on the video it slipped a little when you went to nail it. I would think something as simple as a well-placed dowel in a pre-drilled hole so that it is removeable, to make the finished tree easier to get out of the fixture. That would keep your fingers away from the back side of the pieces you're popping a brad into.

      Most people are not that measuring tape savvy. What difference would it make
      ( Not using someone else's measurements ). Just round it to the nearest 1/2 ,or inch.? It's hard enough for people to read a tape much less counting to the nearest 16th of a in . Really? Make it easier on people.
