Looks like another fun journey for the both of you. Next time you eat something spicey and your mouth burns, drink hot tea and the spice will dissipate quickly. Have fun!
Congratulations on reaching 10k and more. Slowly but surely you will reach more don't worry just chill. This is the type of market I'd like to explore myself. No tourists, go at the right time & just enjoy it slowly
When you buy things at the local market, you must know how to bargain. However, the quality of the goods at the local market is not very good... the price is cheap, but the designs are beautiful and diverse. It was also a fun experience
@@wattstraveling yes, just during the DIFF competition. The boats normally dock by the Novotel, they just move during DIFF so the can use the area for the fireworks
That fruit is called Gâc in Vietnamese . Its red flesh inside is used as a natural food dye to make a special sticky rice called Xoi Gâc , served in special events like weddings , death anniversaries , Lunar New Year meals and offerings in temples and pagodas . You should know that at Han and Con markets the vendors have to pay a much higher rent because it's in a tourist area . But you could always bargain for the price that both parties are happy . Don't haggle to much and don't pay the first price they tell you . Usually at 1/2 to 3/4 of the asking price is OK .
I will definitely visit this market when I visit Vietnam next time. I like this market better than Han market. To me, the Han market is so chaotic, people are on top of you when you are trying to look at items to buy. So crowded and congested.
I am Vietnamese 🇻🇳 What is your nationality? Do you love Vietnam? Because every time I meet foreigners in Vietnam, I feel very happy and proud, so not just once but I invite you to come explore Vietnam many times. 😀🇻🇳😉
@hoanghaipham4776 hi there! 👋 we are Canadian and it's our second time to Vietnam. Your country is very beautiful. We will be back! ❤️ thank you for watching!
I'm not far from Bac My An (a perfect dog walk) so it's neat seeing other markets since I don't venture out much more from the vendors I already like. I even had a tailor there make me some tear-away shorts for like $5 (I had the shorts already), we just had to get passed the awkward part of explaining what they were. On you Mr DIY: I've been trying to find a hardware store or just to buy a screwdriver. I would normally just buy it on Lazada but at this point it's become a mission to just find a store that sells a screwdriver. Google maps has failed me.

I used to have one of those styles sewing machines Singer, the stitches are much much nicer than the electric ones, in my opinion.
